The holiday's..yes it's the danger time of year for me. This time last year i was at 124. I was training for a Halloween 5k i run every year so i was doing great with my workouts and meals. I won my age group and then started eating my way through all the leftover Halloween candy and didn't stop until the Valentines Day candy was gone..i went from 124 to 140 in no time. It's true what they say you can't out run a bad diet.
So this year i decided to do something different. I joined an online fitness challenge you have to pay for to make sure i don't cheat. The challenge goes from Oct.5 until the 28th of December. When the challenge started i was at 136.6 i am 5'2 and 50 years old so i want to get down to 120. As of this morning i am at 127.6
Another change i have made is from running 3-6 miles 6 days a week to more of a walk/run type cardio. I never do more than 4 miles in a day and i will usually break it up..2 miles in the morning and 2 miles in the evening. If i run outside 3 miles max. I am focusing more on lifting as this is what the challenge is..
The title of my journal is because i want to be at my goal weight by my birthday New Years Day..i have a new tattoo that i am going to get as a reward to myself for staying on my plan. My avi is the one i got on my birthday last year..
Well that's all for now..

I am right there with you. It was shocking, and humbling. I am up almost 20 lbs from when I was first pregnant! It seemed to stable out after I had her, then it went slowly up over time as my habits went to poo. So it was a wake up call to get my rear in gear and not let it get out of hand.
I will be here to offer my support! I am really glad to see you here! I have also been very inspired by your progress pics on FB! I hope you keep doing that, as long as it helps you, that is."Choice is ours whether

I know it's so easy to fall back into old patterns. I go good for a few weeks and then something happens and i am like oh just a little candy or one glass of wine won't hurt and then there i go...i am such an all or nothing person..i am either 100% in the program or 100% off..

Hey! Good work not going for the candy bowl, and buying a designated treat instead. We love dark chocolate over here, Z does too.
