Athletic Edge Darknight:
Athletic Edge Darknight A couple of things about me first. I've got a few lbs to lose. I also have a sleep disorder. I'm up almost exactly every two hours. So when I got this product in my hands I had high hopes. I wasn't disappointed. This bottle comes advertised as a nighttime Testbooster, fat burner and Sleep aid. Heck, we pay good money for any ONE of those things, having all three sounds like it's too good to be true. Sleep Aid Due to my sleep disorder, I cycled this with 2 days on and 2 days off. I won't BS you because I wouldn't want you to BS me. First night, Bang. I was up 2 hrs after hitting the rack. But, I slept through the rest of the night. That is definitely different for me. The next night I awakened but was able to go back to sleep without delay. On the nights I didn't take Darknight, I would awaken as usual. The more I took Darknight, the better the results, even on nights that I didn't take it. TestBooster. I don't have any scientific way of measuring the amount of Test in my bloodstream. But on gym days I was definitely there to get my workout. Being better rested due to better sleep and the testboosting can only have worked to make gym day a slam bang 'just one more set and I'll go home' day. Fat Burner I've always equated Fat Burning with some type of stimulant. A night time fat burner just doesn't make sense to me. Yet, I lost 6 lbs. I have been working with the goal of losing a lb a week. Here, it doubled. 3 weeks, 6 lbs. All in all, I would say that this item is exactly what is advertised. I believe that Darknight is a winner. This is an item that I will routinely utilize in my road to Strength and wellness. I hope that my review will assist others in making their choices.

Olympian Labs Caffeine tablets 200 mg
I like to use caffeine tablets to give me a bit of a push. This product helps me do that. I have used other OTC products for this and I end up tossing down several tablets each time because of their low dosage. With supp programs that a lot of us have sometimes another 3 tablets or capsules is just 3 too many. OL Caffeine makes it convenient to get that subtle caffeine push by putting a solid 200 mg in a single small tablet. 200 mg of caffeine? Roughly 3 cups of coffee for me. I would recommend this productEscaped fm the Peoples Republic of California. Be on the lookout.

Muscle Pharms Citrus Edge Energy Sport Zero drink
I received 4 cans of this great and tasty beverage fm Muscle Pharm. The flavor is great. The nutrient stand outs for me are the green tea, ginseng and B complex vitamins.
I didn't use this as a PWO but as a restorative. After a W/O it has a crisp clean taste that is hard not to guzzle.
My son snatched a couple of cans and took them to his Water Polo matches. He drinks a lot of 'Monster' type drinks and agreed that the flavor is top notch. A great between games drink.
Enjoy folks, I did.Escaped fm the Peoples Republic of California. Be on the lookout.

MP's Peach Swirl Combat Powder
MP's Combat Powder, Peach Swirl, is awesome. The flavor is creamy and lightly peachy. I was not sure about this fruit flavor but extremely hopeful. I have to say, my hopes were fulfilled. I generally mix my shakes with water which can sometimes leave the drink experience a bit flat. Mixed with milk the flavors really come through. It's an easy mix in the shaker bottle . No residue or chunks. The 5 proteins that are blended for this Hybrid powder make a nice smooth mix. 5 proteins add up to 25 gms per serving. I made ice cream with it. The family loved it. I will be buying this product routinely.
MP Combat Powder Peach Swirl ice cream:
1 lg tub of Cool Whip
1 sm can of sweetened condensed milk (the larger the can, the sweeter the ice cream)
24-32 oz whole milk (the amount of milk determines how strong the Peach flavor is)
8 scoops MP Peach Swirl
In large bowl, mix entire tub of Cool Whip with condensed milk.
Shaker cup 4 scoops MP Peach Swirl in whole milk
blend into tub 2nd shaker cup with 4 scoops of MP Peach Swirl and remaining milk
Pour mix back into Cool Whip tub and other suitable containers.
Freeze over night.
Can top with fresh or canned peaches.
Enjoy gang.Escaped fm the Peoples Republic of California. Be on the lookout.

Muscle Pharms Circuit shorts
Received these fm MP for review. After a couple of weeks of wear, I give you my impressions.
These shorts are 100% polyester. Comes with 2 pockets and a draw string in front. They are solidly constructed yet lightweight. Washed, they lose no color. Quick to dry. If there is a drawback to these shorts, it may be the draw string seems a a tad short. (Maybe that's just the way I see it) If you are looking to buy another pair or two of shorts for the gym, consider MP's circuit shorts. They are comfortable and they breathe. The waistband is very heavy duty and holds tight to your hips so you are not mooning your fellow gym goers when you squat. Nobody wants to see that. Very solid recommendation on these shorts.Escaped fm the Peoples Republic of California. Be on the lookout.

This stuff is amazing. I will start with flavor. Vanilla is my favorite flavor for blending. Usually the Vanillas tend to be 'soft' thus perfect for blending your leftover protein mixes, fruits, yogurts, oats, etc.
The label on the 5lb bag doesn't say Vanilla ice cream flavor, but that's what it reminds me of. I like mixing this with my oats and adding peaches. My fav. Usually eat my Proats a bit on the dry side, but Labrada LeanPro Vanilla, with a bit extra water gives a peaches and cream consistency.
The 5lb bag is convenient in that it is sturdy, solidly resealable, and did I say it's a 5 pounder? 58 servings in that bag. It mixes smoothly. I usually drink my protein mixed with water, but this one begs to be done with milk. It is a Vanilla shake without the ice cream. You will not be disappointed by this product in terms of flavor or mixability. NO CHUNKS! Whatever you mix it with, I think you will be satisfied.
It delivers 25 gms of delicious protein with every serving.Escaped fm the Peoples Republic of California. Be on the lookout.

S.A.N. Banana Cream 100% Titanium Whey
Finished this tub that I received fm S.A.N. It was so good that I threw a bit of water into the empty tub to get the last bit. Thanks to the good folks at S.A.N. for sending this out to me.
I received Banana Coconut. The 1 lb tub came with 15 delicious servings.
The flavor profile is terrific. Heavier on the Banana then on the Coconut but that's why they call it Banana Coconut. Each serving contained 23 gms of Whey protein per serving.
It mixes up great regardless weather it's water, milk, almond milk, etc Obviously using whole milk gives it that near ice cream shake consistency. YMMV on that.
Since I am focused on losing weight, this comes in like a dream. 114 calories per serving. That's with water, obviously.
It mixes up smooth with no clumping, no chalky residue, no kidding. I was excited about the flavor combo and was not disappointed.
Flavor 10/10.
Mixability 9/10 and only because it was thin when mixed with water. Not sure how to get around that without adding some sort of filler. And that might displace protein in your scoop and affect calorie count. So I am happy with the way it is.
Doing Proats with this protein powder was an experience. I got a large bowl of my 6 grain mix. Added half a banana, blueberries and shredded coconut. 1 scoop of Banana Cream, a bit of hot water. Heaven in a bowl, so goo, I almost forgot my scrambled eggs.
Thanks for reading!Escaped fm the Peoples Republic of California. Be on the lookout.

Orgain Organic Protein
This review is of Orgain Organic Protein Plant based powder. I've been trying plant based powders because my daughter is working herself towards a vegetarian lifestyle. To be honest, I've been underwhelmed by the plant based powders. They tend to be grittier in the mix than the Whey based or hybrid powders.
To be honest, I feel the vegetarian powders probably deliver nutritionally everything they advertise. But the flavors, textures and mixability have tended to be a general 'no go' for me.
This protein that I am reviewing is Creamy Chocolate Fudge. It delivers 21 gms of protein, 5gms of organic fiber and 3 gms of net carbs per 2 scoops. That serving, in water, is 150 calories with 40 0f those fm fat. No saturated or trans fats. It is developed by a doctor who is a Cancer survivor.
The protein sources are organic, varied and one or more possibly exotic, and I list them in the order that they are found on the label: Brown rice, Chia seed, hemp and pea.
It contains no soy, gluten, dairy, lactose or gmo's.
This is a raw and hypoallergenic product. It states that it has a complete Amino acid profile but no values for that profile are listed.
It has 1 gm of sugar and 5 gms of alcohol sugar. It does taste a tad sweet for me
This blend of proteins mixes up pretty good. It has an organic creamer as part of its ingredients so that does smooth out the texture and mixability. I prefer to mix this in organic whole milk. I use a shaker cup for my proteins and this one mixes with a few small clumps. I must admit, the creamy fudge flavor really comes through and the small clumps are like bits of cake batter.
Mixability: 7/10
Texture : 8/10
Flavor : 9/10
I like this powder mainly on flavor and the mix of organic plant proteins.Escaped fm the Peoples Republic of California. Be on the lookout.

Sorry for the delay on responding. Yeah, I am investing heavily in rebuilding myself. I've drafted my family into my 'Strength and Wellness' lifestyle. All are responding well to it. I do go through a fair bit of protein powder, but that is a lot of family use as well.
PWO powders, INTRA powders, the sleep aids.....those are all me. The wife has just started using the occasional PWO and really digs the INTRA powders.
My son is 17 and only gets to use protein powders. As he does Water Polo and Swimming. It's nothing for him to get 8-10 servings out of a 20 serving tub. My daughter is 12 and wants to be vegetarian. That's why we utilize some veggie alternatives.
My favorite so far? Man, I think right now (of the posted reviews) it's gonna be Labrada LeanPro Vanilla and S.A.N. Titanium Whey.
I get a lot of samples fm the various nutrition shops and always fm the vendors of BB.com. I review those as well. This thread acts as a diary for me and hopefully a reference for others.
All of the statements that I put here are my own opinion only. YMMV.Escaped fm the Peoples Republic of California. Be on the lookout.

E-Flow Nutrition's Enrage
Gladiator Green Apple
Green Apple flavor is spot on. Reminds me of Jolly Rancher candy. VERY easy to drink and not too sweet. I've used other PWO's fm time to time and have had them hit with varying intensities. I like this one because it didn't make me queasy.
I drank this down on the way to the gym. Felt it kicking in about 20 minutes later. I was into my warm up when it hit. Was heavy into my work out 30 minutes after that, still with a solid boost.
As I finished my workout I could still feel the positive effects fm Enrage. Still focused and energized.Escaped fm the Peoples Republic of California. Be on the lookout.

SD Pharmaceuticals APIGENIN 99
I used this product and was pleased with the results. The bottle I received came with a capsule count of 40. The instructions suggest 1-2 capsules a day. This gives the user a possible 40 day run with this product at one capsule a day.
As an older guy I struggle to keep down the estrogen production. I believe that this product was helpful in that regard.
Used this product in two runs. The first I used one capsule a day for 20 days. Around day 6 I started feeling 'dry.' It was a subtle distinction at first, but I noticed a bit of tightening or leaning out. By the end of the 20 day run, I was certain that this product was doing what was advertised.
I waited a week and began a 10 day run with APIGENIN 99. I took one capsule in the morning and one at bedtime. Day 2 and I found what I was looking for. My body had started to tighten up. It was as if my body was waiting for its next dose. I took this product without any other supplements. I think that stacking this with a test booster will give the user a big push towards controlling the estrogen production.Escaped fm the Peoples Republic of California. Be on the lookout.

REDCON1 MRE BLUEBERRY COBBLER MEAL REPLACEMENT
9/10
First, the flavor/taste. It's great. Blueberry Cobbler. Mixed it with water. I'm sure using milk, soy or almond 'milks' will give it a heavier thicker taste. The food values on this are great. Carbs come from oatmeal and the protein from numerous sources including beef and salmon. (Have you checked the prices of beef protein powder?) This is an item that I would recommend to anyone who misses meals. A full serving has the carbs and protein of a full meal. While the price might be scary at 80 bux, each container has 25 full servings. That's a bit over 3 bux by my reckoning. I don't know anyplace I can buy a clean protein dense meal for that money. A bargain for those of us who are prone to missing meals in our daily schedule. The only 'drawback' for me, I need to watch the carbs. But it's not much of a drawback if daily math is done correctly. I'm guessing that this item would be a great weight gainer that tastes great.Escaped fm the Peoples Republic of California. Be on the lookout.

REDCON1 MRE SWEET POTATO MEAL REPLACEMENT
10 Sweet Potato Pie
This Meal Replacement is awesome. Yep, better than the Blueberry Cobbler. This, when mixed with milk, tastes very much like a slice of pie. The food values are great. The cost on a full serving, used as a meal replacement, is a little over 3 bux. But it is packed with Beef, Salmon and other proteins. ( Clean and cheap eats for those of us who miss meals.) The carbs come fm simple oats, yams and sweet potatos. Used as a Meal Replacement the carbs can be a bit high for me, but with a little diligence, I can keep the macros in line. I would recommend this to anybody.Escaped fm the Peoples Republic of California. Be on the lookout.

NUTRABIO Naturals BCAA Natural Fermented
First off, NUTRABIO gives you the opportunity to verify it's products contents through 3rd party testing. I entered the lot number for BCAA Natural Lemonade flavor. My product tested a tad heavier in each of the three active ingredients than was advertised on the product container.
Very, very nice, NUTRABIO. A purchaser knows that he is getting what is advertised, what he paid for.
This product has a very bright Lemony taste. I've been using this product about a week and have noticed that unlike a few other products I have used, it's not just something I use to feed the machine. I get a very positive result that gives me a nice psyche boost. That bright lemony flavor is tart and not too sweet. It doesn't make me overly thirsty during my workout. This product being stripped of any fillers or additives is as pure as you are gonna get.
Although not a fan of Stevia, I don't think this formula would work without it.
This product offers us fermented BCAA's. Not sure how this works in my body, except that it is a positive thing. Seems that my body just sucks this up.
NUTRABIO offers up this product w/o allergens, in a non-GMO and Gluten Free formulation.
Also, this product delivers a 6 g serving. It's 2.5 Leucine, 1.25 Isoleucine and 1.25 Valine. I know that many look for that 2:1:1 ratio of BCAA's
I definitely recommend this product for your arsenal.Escaped fm the Peoples Republic of California. Be on the lookout.

Scivation's Xtend Ripped
How does it taste? Great. The Watermelon Lime flavor is balanced and refreshing. I find that some other BCAA offerings are a bit on the sweet side. This formulation is just sweet enough for me. It'll keep me reaching for my shaker cup during the work out and during the day. It comes with a solid blend of Leucine (3500mg), Glutamine (2500 mg), Isoleucine (1750) and Valine (1750). Xtend Ripped is the weight loss formulation that comes with Capsimax Cayenne, Carnitine and CLA. It's this combination that sets it apart fm many other offerings. These three ingredients can assist in cutting weight. Some of us are looking to lose pounds, some of us ounces and this product is here to helpEscaped fm the Peoples Republic of California.
