if you got a phone with camera or laptop it's easiest to film yourself and take screenshots of that... it's how i used to do it
selfies through mirrors often distort like fuuu.
Should have clean rules about the pictures; like in the morning versus in the gym with an ubah pump is a huge difference on most, daylight vs shady downlighting etc etc... all makes for fairer judging

Your idea works as well, tbh I don't even know if my cellphone has a 5 second timer feature. Will find out.
Tbh my cut's not going as well as I had expected. 8 lb down in 3 weeks but I still look like I have the same bodyfat, just flatter. I've only done 1 cut before, but it was from being bear mode to fairly fit. I've never been really lean. Anything I should be aware of?Last edited by deathmetal1992; 07-20-2015 at 07:29 PM.

Sign me up for the masters 30+ division. Hopefully, I'm the only one that enters.
I actually did a transformation for work (I'm a nutritionst), and I've been sharing my progress on ******** and Instagram. It's not the most dramatic change, but it's my first time really documenting it.
It seems like every few months we hold a transformation challenge, and encourage you guys to join. And, there's usually a grand prize to serve as an incentive. In the end, the real winners are the people who stick with it. The ones who genuinely eat, breath, and live the lifestyle.
But, wouldn't it be nice if you could turn the tables, and see the transformation from the other side? What if, one of us (a Max Muscle employee) was willing to share their progress? It might offer some fresh perspective on what can be achieved when diet and supplementation go hand in hand.
So, I've decided to take it upon myself to share my journey. I started at the end of April, right after the NPC Max Muscle VA Classic. My starting weight was 230lbs. Currently, I weigh 212lbs, and I haven't really lost any muscle.
Ultimately, my goal is to represent Max Muscle Springfield on a bodybuilding stage. I turn 34 in November, so I need all the encouragement that I can get. Who's with me?
Weighed in at 208 lbs post workout.
I'm focused. ✌
Last update for tonight. Tomorrow, I'll be at Anytime Fitness in Kingstowne, representing Max Muscle Springfield.
Lifetime natural bodybuilder, and certified nutritionist.

Great idea about tracking the progress Timmy. Funny it comes from you, the ghy who would murder us all in this competition.
That said, how would we track progress? From when to when? It seems to me that might be problematic.
I thought of this not as an actual bodybuilding competition really, bjte a competition to push ourselves more and strive for our individual best...so winning, while nice, is not the objective.
I also liked the idea of giving out awards for best body part, most conditioned etc.
Still some stuff to work out in the actual judging and how it will be done, but I am glad to see it has gotten people moving.
Also we should all post out height and game day weight. Obviously relying on the honor system, so no exaggerated stats please.

Tbh you should start up asap.
Every 2 weeks same day in the morning, posts should include pic of weight on scale, height etc and a lil random information on how you dieted and what you changed, that way we can learn from it and is food for discussion and questions/answers.
Update pics should imo include ALL mandatories filmed from a correct angle and under no bias-lights.
Don't mean to come off as a douche now but I'll use me as an example how track progress, i film it.

Beats bothering with camera timers 80 times to get it right

Is it too late to get in on this? And before you answer let me state this. I have 2 wks left n my mini cut then I have my last phase of "offseason" before I prep for my first show (start prep in February I think).
But this will motivate me to make quality gains and not just balloon 20 lbs of lard like I ALWAYS doInstagram: thomas_poucher
yes i've tried doing incline first
