Do you consume caffeine regularly? With your level of experience, I was start with just something very mild, like a cup of coffee. You may find it does the trick.

If you're tried, maybe it's your sleep you should look into. How many hours do you feel you regularly get? How's your diet? Carbohydrate intake?

A lot of good pre-workouts out there, make sure you don't take a full dose/scoop when you first start taking them though, also always good to talk to a doctor before you start taking one, especially if there's like a million ingredients in it.

If you can state your exact diet in terms of macros and calorie intake then we can go from there.
Saying your diet is good is pretty vague.

I used to use DS craze for a pre-workout as it was BY FAR the best..... nothing else came even close to topping its power... however with that gone now i use detonate by gaspari stacked with hemavol pre-workout. Look into these after you get your diet nailed down though

If you've never taken any supps before, the last thing you wanna start with is a pre-workout.
If you must Creatine Mono is the only one you will ever need.

While those are heathy choices, your total caloric intake seems extremely low for an average person, let alone someone at your height and weight. That could explain the lack of energy.

Your best bet is definitely the Nutrition section not the Supplement section.

^^^Truth, I was actually cutting on 2800 back in spring at 185lb being 5'8. Right now I'm at 1800-2000 calories.

So you should up your calories at your height and dont avoid carbs too much as they provide you with the energy you need. I tried to sub caffeine for carbs and that didn't work out for me.

This. You should use calculators for a rough estimate of where to start and then, depending on your goal, add in or take out calories to ensure you are achieving what you want.

I would for sure go to the nutrition section and read all of the sticky posts there my friend.

Definitely check out the nutrition section to build your knowledge on what your macros should be.

As someone who gets 5-6 hours a sleep daily because that is all that my schedule allows me to get (college, studying, work, family responsibilities) going to the gym and finding the energy to do so can hard. If you have your diet and everything in check and are truly looking for a boost in the gym then I suggest giving Sma5h a try. It's a fairly new preworkout with 180mg of caffeine per scoop. Since you don't have much experience with caffeine I would suggest starting at half a scoop and seeing how it affects you and then move your way up to an entire scoop.
