I was loving it for a good 3 months. I made a lot of strength gains running 531. In April when I had finally got back to squatting regularly I was still at 135 and now I'm able to do the same amount of reps if not more with 180. Pretty much everything went up including assistance/accessory work. I'll be writing out my new program this week because I'd like to get more serious my strength gains and focus on building a better lower body
Patience, dedication, drive.

I wanted to use this session to kind of practice my form a little bit since I've noticed lately my heels come up during squats. Tried a couple sets with shoes and the rest without. I didn't like either! Idk what the deal is but I have to remind myself to stay on my heels more. Well good news is that I'll be squatting more from now on and I'll be able to get it down better
Yesterday's session:
Lower Body
Squats
WU sets
135 x 5 x 5
Leg Press
none because sh!t hurts my knees.
Walking BB Lunges
70 x 20 x 2
Good Girl/Bad Girl
45 x 20 x 2
superset because no one really needs a big rest on these. Love the way the abductor makes my outer booty feel though. Don't knock it til you try it! SRS
Single Leg Extension
55 x 12 x 3
Standing Calf
105 x 15 x 2
increased the weight on this finally
Horizontal Calf
110 x 15 x 2
I did just a tiny bit more volume on squats and my legs were like jello afterwards. Wtf? I was doing lunges and felt somewhat drunk lol. Please please please don't collapse and die in the gym Brittany. I also think I've inspired other people to do these...since I've been doing them I've seen 4 people doing the same thing. Yay for them! I won't be doing these once I start squatting more. That's enough rambling! byebyePatience, dedication, drive.

If I had $200 I'd consider these but the $90 shoes probably just as good am I right?
Will definitely save my pennies for these. Thank you based Eric

You mean this one?
Mkay will change
I guess I don't see them as a necessity at all for someone who doesn't have the heel issue. I wouldn't think this would ever be an issue for a low bar squatter anyway. I've found a stance that works for me, I like how I point my toes out but I think if they came in just a little more I'd have an easier time staying on my heels. Whatever it is I'll figure it outPatience, dedication, drive.

I was gifted a used pair of these by a PL club buddy who got new shoes. They have a lower heel than most which worked better for me than a full height heel and have ridiculously good ankle support. If you were contemplating dropping 200 on shoes, I might suggest these at 215 for excellent quality squat shoes.

Ironically they're sitting in my closet now since I've found that I squat better in chucksMy log:http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=147520713

I have to do this as well or else it just doesn't feel right.
Michael Kors? Yes please! I have so many watches I don't know what to do with them. I can't even walk in heels boots yes, heels I may need some assistance
Thanks!!!
I've always squatted in chucks but I figured it wouldn't hurt having a good pair of pl shoes. I'm not willing to spend more than $100 because I'm going to be real here, I have bills to pay lol. I may try out the shoes Eric linked to see how I like them and if purchasing a more expensive pair is even worth it.
And dammit I've been wanting pink Chucks for so long now. Love chucks for deadlifts!
I had no idea you were following me on ig. Must have a totally different name? Thank you and make sure you follow my new log if I decide to make one!Patience, dedication, drive.
