Anyone familiar with this? I would imagine you can use them a few ways, kind of like a safety squat bar. Certainly falls under the "nice-to-have", not the "need-to-have" category. It's NZ$249 (About $205 US).
EDIT:
Anyone know how it compares to this SSB attachment? http://www.davedraper.com/fitness_pr...oduct/TTS.html

I've used Crepinsek's version, that he used to make for Louie Simmons that was sold through westside-barbell.com as a zercher harness/front squat harness, it had an additional platform below the shoulder braces that you could lay a bar across to do zerchers.
pretty awesome for both, but I don't like doing zerchers and when I front squat its with weights that I can rack.
I suppose it would be good for people who like doing zerchers/front squats a lot and don't want to F up their arms.*Mods/CS will not, nor can they change your username, so don't ask*

If you just want to front squat, I would just learn to rack it, or use straps attached to the bar (if you are one of those beasts who just can't get into that rack position)
I have seen videos of people doing like weighted walks and **** with it too, probably god for GPP and stuff.Bryan

Have this one.
The harness and SSB are different in regards to the focus on muscle groups involved. The harness puts more demands on your lower back, the SSB moves the center balance of the weight some but not as drastic as the harness. Generally use the SSB for box squats to focus training your hips. The Harness is great tool for training your deads indirectly.
I'm glad you posted this going to incorporate these into next week's deads training.
