I agree with push press for ease of judging... Maybe powerclean or clean... I think everyone has there own personal 4th powerlift ( Mine being OHP and powerclean)

Adding more lifts to a Powerlifting event might be a bit much..... Doing 9 1RM attempts with 4-6 new PR attempts in one day is pretty hard on the body. I couldn't imagine people doing 12-15, no matter how well trained they are. Also, the resulting competition totals would likely be lower than gym PR's and it would make it more difficult to choose the weights because of the level of fatigue by the time you get to the 4th and 5th lifts.

It's gotta be push press, ohp, or some type of clean. I really don't see any other options. Weighted chins wouldn't really be a good competing lift for reasons already stated in the thread.

Great idea guys, bench isn't clearly enough so lets add another upper body push into the mix.

I think weighted pull ups would be hard to incorporate though. Could be easy to kip up, and use body sway and momentum, and would make it difficult to judge. Also, what counts, amount of weight attached at belt, or bw + extra? Stretching neck/chin to just peak over bar? Something like that would be hard, because concentric is before eccentric.

I would like to see military press, but it would probably suffer the same fate as it did in the Olympics, unfortunately.

Maybe dips? I would think it's harder to cheat with dips than a pull/chin up.
Kipping with added weight is so hard it's almost neglectable. Standard could be to touch the bar to the chest.

Crossfit does that, I know CF gets a lot of hate, but I like that idea from them

I'd be too sore to deadlift a day after maxing out on squats. Probably the same with military pressing the day after maxing out on bench.

Maybe dips? I would think it's harder to cheat with dips than a pull/chin up.
i understand too OP, people just take things to seriously.
but yeah i agree pullup would be hard to judge since u can use momentum to get up (kip) but i dont think anything else would be a good fit honestly
