Bench Press - Back Slipping using Leg Drive

after using leg drive on the first rep, my upper back slides back and my whole form is shot

Chalk your shoulders or use a cabinet mat

I use a hoodie, it grips a lot better than a shirt for experience.

I also use to slip a bit, at the time it was because my arch wasn't good and the leg drive wasn't planting my traps to the bench, the force rather moved horizontally.

If your gym allows it, chalk up your shoulders. My shoulders are chalked for anything over 225. If not, the drawer liner is an option.

the benches at my gym are really slippery,so i keep a roll of cabinet liners in my gym bag..they can be gotten at walmart for about a 1$ a roll...and i never have to clean up a chalk mess...

Yup. My 2$ investment over 2 years ago is still holding up, too. No more slippery commercial gym benches for me

Depending on the surface type, wetting your upper back can work wonders.
