Your grip looks like it is a little wider than the edges of the knurling. I'm talking about where the "grippy stuff" meets the smooth part. Nothing wrong with a slightly wider stance unless it forces you to use a wider grip. Wider grip = longer RoM. Then again, that's not the end of the world either depending on your training goals. As someone preparing for a meet, trying to maximize poundages, it's a different story, though.

That's Robert Wilkerson. He's a 900+ raw squatter. That's a 605 deadlift. He has to use a very wide stance for obvious reasons. The wide stance forces a wide grip and takes hundreds of pounds off of his deadlift. This is a super exaggerated example just to make a point.
A wider than necessary grip artificially shortens the arm segment. How wide is necessary? Your arms should hang vertical from the shoulders. We are talking just an inch or two with what you're doing. It may help or it may not, but it's just something to be aware of like stance width on squats and grip width on bench.www.PowerliftingToWin.com

Jesus f*ck baco you got a solid 35 pounds on me! ahah What kind of numbers are you shootin for at the meet? I plan on doin a mock meet in 2 weeks tho so lets see where my maxes are at @~160lbs! I plan on entering an actual meet sometime before I turn 19, i turn 18 in 3 months.
EDIT: What kind of routine do you plan on doing after the meet? I remember you saying you were gunna do a bodybuilding style routine for a while, i plan on doin the same.
