I've used quite a few. I've purchased 2 tubs of jack3d, which is a really solid product minus the fact it gives me a nasty crash. I've tried NO-Xplode but it just wasn't a reasonable price for the product. Last preworkout I purchased was Dark Rage. Wayyyyy too much caffeine.
Hopefully Animal Rage will be the one I'm looking for. I'm confident it will be a solid product as well, since you guys have always made great products.

I have used many pre workout products in the past, I respond well to them. What I look for: I want a product that gives me great energy and focus that doesn't make me feel jittery. I have tried products that enabled me to get a great workout, but it was almost not worth it because it made me feel like crap. I also hate the crash that is associated with some products, I hate having to lay on the couch after a workout and feeling terrible. Why would I want to try Animal Rage? Animal products are on the top of my list. Animal pump is one of my all time favorite supps. I also love the company itself, when I was deployed in '09, Universal sent us a hell of a care package, which is where I first discovered Animal Pump. Any company that shows love to us troops when we are overseas, is a great company in my book!

ok well then, i guess i'll be first
i've been through many pre-workouts in the past 4 years of working out. i've had good ones and bad ones. i've also tried animal pump which sits top 5 pre workouts i've tried. what i look for in my pre's is:
1) reputation of company; animal being my 3rd fav company.
2) ingredients provided are legit and not always "groundbreaking" i like simple, straight to the point.
3) economically sound
4) focus and pump factor, is what i love to see in a preworkout. drive me harder each day when i get great pumps and focus from my pre's
i'd like to try animal rage simply cause i love animals' products, form intra aid, animal pump, and my favorite animal cuts. they've never dissapointed me before and i'm sure they nailed this one on the button.
and i'm eligibleUCSB

I have used many pre-workouts and am really looking for something that gives me the focus and drive I need without too much of a stim buzz.
Honestly though how could you not want to try a product named "Rage" by the most respected name in supplements? The Beast Journey to Elite

I've used Jack3d recently. I enjoyed it the first couple of weeks but after that I built up a tolerance to it very quickly. For the past 3-4 weeks I have found myself taking it just to get somewhat of a pump, which is only part of the entire product's use. I felt like I was wasting it due to the tolerance I built up quickly. I'd want my preworkout supplement to build a slower tolerance in me so I could use it effectively for more than just 2 weeks. Right now I am cycling off stims for about a month due to the tolerance I build up. If this gets shipped March 1, it would be timed perfectly for me to give it a try and provide an honest opinion of how it works out for me, as my tolerance will have gone down from previous Jack3d stims.

I have just over the past few months began using pre-workout supplements. I have nearly finished a big tub of White Flood, and am taking samples of one right now to review. What I have come to expect out of my pre supps is a nice tingling feeling, a boost in energy, enhanced focus, and some pump. The biggest plus to me is one that will not cause me to crash as soon as it wears off. Every Animal product I have tried thus far has been great, and I would love the chance to try more! Thanks guys.

I need Animal Rage!
I have used pre workout energy formulas including NO Xplode, Shock Therapy (the best) and Universal ThermoStack. So far Shock Therapy has been the best! But I need something more. A product that will take me from falling asleep standing up to ripping the weights apart.
I currently work 80-90 hours a week at a hospital and let just say I don't get to sleep much. Sometimes only 3 hours a night. So for me to have a great workout I need something extra. Right now its 2 scoops of Shock Therapy, but I've become pretty tolerant. Let me put this product to the test! I will log it too, either here or on animalpak.com.

I've used ALOT, ranging from stim-only products to more 'complete' formulas to my own mixes.
I look for significant, useful doses, ingredients that I know work for me, particularly for energy and a solid pump, along some extra motivation to get myself to the gym and lift heavy.
I'd like to try Animal rage because I've been really impressed with the other Universal products I've taken (Pak, Flex, Pump) and I've been on the hunt for a good pre-workout for awhile now! Im always trying to keep an eye out for the next product thats gonna set a trend.
letsss go!Last edited by MitchtheMonst3r; 02-01-2011 at 12:59 PM.

I have used many pre-workout supplements in the past and currently. I have used pre-workouts such as MP assault, Jack3d, Hemo Rage Black UC, CL White Flood and AEN Presurge unleashed.
I look for a product that is atleast "good" in taste. It doesnt have to be the best, its a workout drink, not a milk shake.
I look for a good quality energy that provides me with good focus that helps me push weight in the gym and not get tired to early in my workout. I like a product that doesnt make you feel very tired after your workout. I look for a quality product with a good product profile.
I would like to try animal rage cause I really believe in pre-workout supplememnts and if its made my Universal Nutrition you know its going to be a top of the line product made by the best.
Thanks For The Concideration

As far as pre-workouts, I've used Animal Pump, Shock Therapy, Storm, Superpump, NO-Xplode, Jack3d, and a few others.
I look for a product that offers the perfect synergy of performance enhancement and sustained effects. Pre-workouts need to put you in the zone and keep you there for longer than the few weeks it takes for your body to become acclimated to the stimulants.
So far, my favorite pre-workouts are Animal Pump, Shock Therapy, and Jack3d.
I'm looking for the next generation of pre-workout products, and I hope Animal Rage is it. If I'm fortuante enough to win a can, I will graciously welcome Rage as the (hopeful) new standard in my pre-workout wake-up call.

I was fortunate to test the powder version and I loved it. I was supplied with enough powder to fuel 14 hardcore workouts. I have used MANY of the pre-workouts on the market, but the majority were overpowering and made me very jittery and hyper in the gym. That's not what I look for. I look for clean energy and INSANE focus that makes me want to keep moving from set to set....not something that makes me feel like my heart is going to jump out of my chest or even give me heart palpitations (which some on the market have). Rage, or the former "Agent O" gave me what I was looking for - it was just a different feeling than any Pre-Wo I've ever used. Once I learned not to take it right after I eat, this turned out to be the BEST preworkout I've used. Off the charts focus and some real intensity. I think a can of Animal Rage can return me to the level I was on - and to the top of my game. I take my training as serious as anyone, and Rage can only help me accomplish what I need to get done. Appreciate the consideration.
