Wednesday 1-26
Another 430am start to my day, which calls for a long day but I prepared all my food, had my creatine, shaker cup w/ water, gym clothes, ipod, but when I got to the gym, I realized I forgot something very important...ENERGY! lol Luckily today was only shoulders but still I was draggin. Since my walk to work is a good 15 minutes each way I counted that as cardio today and just lifted.
Hammer Strength Shoulder Press
1plate/side x 12 x 4
DB Laterals
25x10
22.5x10 x 3
Ez-Bar Front Raises
50x10 x 3
TRX strap Y-ups
BWx10 x 3
SPent!
After working out for months in the morning, my body seems to not like the gym at night time. But if my schedule calls for it. Im going to have to make lemonade. WOrk will be done.
Thanks Paul. Thanks for joining the ride
exactly...I dont want to try and fight through the pain with my knee because I know it will just lead to a more serious injury down the road and thats not what I need. I want to stay as healthy as I can while I prep so that I can maintain as much muscle as I have and not have to comprimise anything down the line. Its just hard because basketball is my passion but the court will always be there.
awesome on your bulk, glad to hear it. Anything is achievable... your body will achieve what your mind believes! Shoot for the stars and when you reach up and grab one, snag one for me too...thanks!
You been MIA and so has your Jazz this season...but good to have you along.
I did enjoy the day off...much needed, but it seems like I can never catch up on sleep.
i dont know? you tell me!TEAM NO CRYING

You'll adjust rather quickly to the new schedule. Keep at it bro.

Thursday 1-27-2011
Weighed in at my normal time this morning and was 186. So Im hoping that before Sunday I can be at 185. Sunday is my refeed. OMG does being able to workout in my regular time make a huge difference. Had a great arm workout and did some cardio on my gyms new Jaccobs Latter.
Arms
Cable Bicep Curls
62.5kg x 8 x 3
Ez-Curl Bar Skulls
80 x 9,8,8
Seated DB Hammer Curls
37.5 x 10 x 3
Seated OH DB tricep extentions
70 x 10 x 3
Hammer Strength Preacher Curl Machine
2plates/side x 10 x 3
Cable Tricep Pushdowns
72.5kg x 8 x 3
Jacobs Latter
5 minutes
Step Mil
8 minutes
DONE.
Solid session today and arms were pumped. Veins everywhere and Im definitely starting to tighten up. Probably the tightest I have been at this weight.
GAME OVER!
Yeah I sure hope so. This gig that has me getting up early is on call, so I never really know when Im going to be called in but I got to do what I got to do. My body is just so used to winding down in the evening that my workouts are rough. All good though. Life gives you lemons, you make lemonade right?
You are 100% correct buddy...no shoulders day but since last monday I hurt my knee I decided to take the rest of the week off from working out legs. So by having a shoulder day it got me in the gym, burned some calories, and still helped me feel like I was accomplishing something, instead of sitting at home bummin over my knee also last sunday I didnt hit shoulders.TEAM NO CRYING

I cant wait for a great time like that again. The food was great we could barely eat since we were laughing so damn much lol
Jacobs ladder is the real deal. Great way to switch up cardio and get out of the traditional incline walk...ya know? once i get leaner Im going to start swimming for my cardio. Im going to work my way up to 10 minutes on the ladder and 10 minutes incline walk...will make the 20 minute cardio session feel like a breeze!TEAM NO CRYING

Only if you reach the boundary will the boundary recede before you. And if you don't, if you confine your efforts, the boundary will shrink to accommodate itself to your efforts. And you can only expand your capacities by working to the very limit.

Friday 1-29-2011
Was another early morning wake up for work at 430am so no weigh in. This week has been really different for me as far as scheduled workouts go. Since I hurt my knee on Monday I decided to give my lower body the rest of the week off to let my knee heal up some what and that left me with alot of time to do upper body but not alot of time to workout so yesterday, Friday, I decided to make a day off/cardio since I walked about 3 miles to and from work. Hit my macros and called it a night. I kind of feel like I have stalled on the fat loss and weight loss on these macros but we will see in a few more days.

after I got off work yesterday I was just absolutly drained and not feeling like doing anything so I stopped by the store on my way home from work, got me a diet soda, and went home and called it a day! I did my cardio today though. No swimming though, just incline walking for 30 minutes

yup. 70%, 85%, 100%, then PR week. I have found this works wonders for me in the past. The 70% week gives you a week in which you can get your form down, not tax your CNS, and acts as a mini de-load. From there on you increase the poundage's weekly and after PR week, you go back down to 70%. I love it.
