Ring Dips/Close-grip Chins
BWT x10
52x5
70x3x5
Done. Was going to do some tricep work with my kettlebells but I had some sharp pains shooting through my chest and shoulders so I shut it down. Plus I have already benched 3x this week prior lol. That's a lot of upper body work.
Left hip is still all kinds of screwed up, but it's getting better and I think it will be fine by Monday.
Slight rant: I think it's funny when people avoid push-ups and dips because the bench press is "The King" of upper body movements. I initially hit 275 (then 285 right after) on bench after only doing dips for a while, last time I had benched before that I had 225. That's why I give the advice to "do your mother fucking dips" when people ask how to get their bench up.
Doing ring dips with +70 feels harder than benching 315 for me.

Have some weird shooting pains in my left leg now....tibialis anterior is hurting and my hip is still pretty tight. Not sure what to think about it. Hopefully it's nothing some pvc rolling and stretching can't fix.
It was never diagnosed but I think I tore my left hip flexor couple years ago (aggressive squat attempts after a 13 lb weight cut lol) and while it seems to have fully recovered, it acts up once in a while. I've done as much as I possibly can to restore tissue quality and mobility, so I guess I have to deal with what I've got at this point. It's not like it really holds me back though.
Responded in your log.

If you did do something to ur flexor then that would make sense. I broke a piece of my hip off when I was 17. That same hip bothers me even tho I'm not touchin ur squat weight. I do lots of focused dynamic and static stretching and foam rolling o that specific hip, seems to kinda help

I'm surprised your hips are hurting considering you squat pretty narrow with feet pretty much strait. Might want to do some good stretching and try some walking lunges, or even those girl machines the abductor, adductor.

Actually broke it? That would suck.
Lol.
When I up the frequency without really backing off on volume, it starts bothering me. Plus doing decline sit-ups uses the hip flexors and that must have exacerbated it.
Used to squat in chucks with a slightly wider stance, and that's what screwed me up in the first place. Once I got oly shoes it was much better.
Also, I don't really squat with feet straight forward anymore.
Lol.

Ladies (maybe? lol) and gentleman, I have come to the conclusion that I need to step away from logging for the time being. Being in the spotlight seems to being f*cking me up big time. I need to be able to do my own thing in my own little world right now.
Being realistic, I'd like to go 584-391-628 for 1603 in February. I'll throw some updates in here and there, but I need to get myself together without the distraction of other people.

Ha sure. I found you.
Lol I guess so. Might be switching to Gold's though.
Finals are easy. I'm done tomorrow. Just finished up a really lame powerpoint in a group with 6 retarded chicks.
Thanks dude.
Lol I know right?
Of course. It's not like I'm going anywhere either, my training is just gonna be top secret lol. I'll still be on the boards.
I'll try to keep some going. I've been really lazy with making them lately. Was planning on it today, but benching went so terrible that I didn't want to.
