    Liver Support

When your taking an oral pro-hormone it's recommended that you take something to help support you liver, I got that. My question is, why exactly? Am I going to possibly get liver failure while taking a pro-hormone, is it more for the long terms effects? Does taking a daily dosage of milk thistle completely combat the effects of something like Halotest-25 or am I still damaging my liver? I guess my main question is, Do you take liver support to get you through the short term strain on your liver or the long term effects? and can I take a pro-hormone and take the right liver support so that I am not permanently damaging my liver? Any help would be great, thank you in advance.

halotest im assuming is a clone of halodrol, so its methylated which means its liver toxic, as are most prohormones. The main reason for taking liver support is to protect your liver as the ph makes its pass through your liver. I cant say it completely protects it, nor can i say taking it will prevent long term effects, but i would def. recommend taking it vs. not taking it. You will feel the effects of taking a methylated prohormone without liver support, and it is not pleasant. Grab some purus labs organ shield, CEL cycle assist and you will be fine.

all the liver supports mentioned here are either under-dosed atleast with some ingredients and/or overpriced.

i would get liverlonger by thermolife. if not same or liv52 and nac bulk from e-bay would be good too.

and OP you're only 17 dont take steroids.

[Aside from the OP being too young], Milk Thistle is an inadequate hepatoprotectant with poor bioavailablity. NAC/TUDCA/SAMe --> /thread

I've never asked and this is a good time since everyone seems to be exchanging some good information. What exactly happens to your liver when on ph? If someone doesn't take support, how is it unpleasent? what are the side effects?

Mate. You are too young to go screwing around with a prohormone. You should wait a few years. Man, I'd kill to have your free test floating around in my blood stream.

    In the mean time
    Creatine
    Protein powder

and if you need to take something that will really bulk you up, you should look into
    Foodatrol

If you are referring to methylated prohormones, cholestasis is something to watch out for. TUDCA is a very unique compound which elicits various physiological benefits. The primary being the attenuation of the severity and/or elimination of contracting intrahepatic cholestasis. Canalicular bile salt export pump impairment is a result of excessive ROS-mediated ATP dysfunction, therefore the attenuation of ROS-mediated damage via supplemental antioxidants is equally as important. TUDCA [if you can get access to it] and polyenephosphatidylcholine appear to be very effective in the treatment of cholestasis. Additionally, blood work should be done in an effort to ensure that AST, ALT, alkaline phosphatase, and bilirubin levels have not reached alarming levels.
