05-24-2011, 11:16 AM #2702"Weight on the bar? Let's just say this: a guy with a 465 pound front squat puked with only 95 pounds on the Tabata front squat. Generally, I urge people to go "light," like 65 to 95 pounds the first time. There are those in this world who've gone up to 155 pounds and still got "eights" in the last twenty seconds, but those are very rare people!"

TUESDAY MAY 24, 2011
(1) CARDIO
25 MINS
(2) 95lb TABATA FRONT SQUAT TO OHP

5. 1
6. -
7. 2 I think
8. 1
NOTES wow Tabata fooking sucks. I cut the cardio short b/c i was so excited to try Tabata and man it did not disappoint. Felt like complete shiit afterwards. Yes those "1 reppers" I just basically stood there w/ the weight for 20 seconds and did 1 front squat. It's crazy how fast 10 seconds feels and how slow 20 seconds feel.

SATURDAY MAY 28, 2011
(1) HIIT
5 intervals of 45/15
(2) LISS
45 MINUTES
LET ME EXPLAIN: I was successful in not drinking last night! Trying to several cut back on drinking to once a week (more on holidays maybe) and eventually to once every 2 weeks. Today was just cardio, burnt over 700 kcals according to the machine
You mean Gnome? And 19 means \/
Thanks man! I am doing a sort of hybrid off the bulgarian method. I work up to a 1rm for THAT DAY and then based off that 1 rm I do 3 x 3 of 90% and 1 x 5 of 80%
Yes.
IDK what the actual value is, it's just marked as "19".

He is having to do what I do. Most of the weight stacks at the cable station don't have a poundage number, just each plate is numbered.
You'll notice when I do my pressdowns it is #12 x 10. I'm not doing 12lb pressdowns.
Also I found various stacks at the same station, weigh different per same number. FOr example, the ones that are commonly used for press downs, curls, and crossovers are far lighter than the stacks set up for lat pull downs and rows. Say I was normally doing #8 for OH extension but tried to use the lat pulldown station for it, I'd probably only use #3 or #4.-
