This is what I do and it requires only the default programs on my PC's:
If you think it is deep enough the best way to get a consensus is to watch the video yourself, the original on your computer not the low quality youtube version, pause the video when you are at your absolute deepest point, hit "Prnt Scrn", paste into paint, crop yourself to get rid of backgrounds and upload/post that picture.
It makes judgement much easier.
A view more from the side helps too.

Honestly I know i was deep enough. An upward angle on a camera that is above the bottom of your ROM tends to lend toward a deceptive view. Its the best recording i can manage with a cellphone though.
While it isn't ATG - it is below parallel which is all that is required for the sake of my competition.
ATG i could probably squeeze out 440ishPicking things up and putting them down since '09

My best with 455.....http://www.********.com/v/519088137245
I've changed my bar placement and it's about 4 inches lower on my back. Since doing so I've hit 475 x 6 but I don't have that on video so this will have to do. I have squatted 501 in competition at 198 raw. Don't have that on video either1708 total @220 Raw
Improve my total every time I step on the platform.
Being a male is a matter of birth. However, being a "man" is a matter of choice.
Photo in Avi is not current, I'm way fatter now.

THIS.
Bar placement (lower on the back) will help insofar as leverage and "stroke". It shortens the distance the bar has to trave (in this case) by about 4". That's a huge amount when considering power outlay over the same distance.
A bit of bar placement experimentation may well allow you to squat lower.Author of The Blueprint - Want BIG gains WITHOUT drugs?

So where should I rest the bar then? Right now it rests nicely right on my traps. Feels great with my hands inside of the line to bunch-up the traps a bit, don't really even "feel" it there anymore. No discomfort.
Lowbar goes under the traps? 4" lower than where it rests now? Arms back, bar on rear delts? wtf

I would say to do what's comfortable. If you like high-bar there is no reason to switch. Personally, I found low-bar to be hard on my back, awkward as fuk on my wrists and because of the forward lean, and generally sucky. Once I switched back to high-bar, I had no lower back soreness after every set of Squats, and it didn't affect my total in the slightest.
