just came across this thread....
working towards 600/272.5
last workout was three sets of 225kgs, reps - 3,2,1
a few workouts to go on this cycle, deadlift on wednesdays
every 2nd wednesday is heavy at the moment, other workout is deadlift with chains/bands/partials etc...
next week wednesday, we're aiming for 230X1 and 235X1
i deadlift conventionall;
also, straps? straps make a huge difference... i'd guess 20lbs... for those dead`ing with straps, try your pr without and see what you get

Nice lift tuna.
As Sis said your girl needs to get her back straight. Strong lift though"Be like water making its way through cracks. Grats on the deadlift PRs, everyone. Shoeless, your pull means I have to pull 515 in three weeks. 525 if you pull 515 before then.

Farout. No Straps? I havn't been doing deadlifts for a long time, but they are essential and am doing them in every back routine. Any tips on increasing forearms strength? I can get 463lbs with straps x1. Havn't tried without, but gurantee I could only do 397lbs. Goal is to get clean lift with no straps, 485lbs. I'm only 18 and have only been lifting for a year, so 6 plates is a little unrealistic. Looking for a clean 5 very sooon!

Not sure if I'm ever going to hit 6 plates with my frame and maximum natural bodyweight but I'm trying to hit 4 plates within the next year. Right now I have an injured lower back so I'm sad I can't deadlift for probably the next month just to be safe. My PR before my injury was 315x6 so it was around 360 max at a bodyweight of 160. I'm not even sure how I hurt my back I just started getting weaker on front squats and deadlifts until one day my back started hurting and I figured I strained something down there.
I'm really pumped to get back to full health and restart my journey to 4 plates. I started at 185x5 two years ago."I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me"
