Currently cutting, and the only things I drink are water, skim milk and 100% juices, (mostly cranberry). I need to know if the amount of sugar in the juices is ok on a cut, I'm going through about 3 gallons of juice a week. If it isn't, whats a better alternative? reps for best answers

ok, definitely gonna look into crystal light... i am including the calories with my intake, but I know I'm really sensitive to sugar bloating, etc; chances are the mix is a lot cheaper than the juice so i'm liking the suggestion
and @ asto_86, i'm one of those odd people who prefers liquid calories over food, (although I still will take animal protein over whey anytime)RIP Mom... 12/4/52-9/2/10

Just a suggestion.. If your problem is you can't drink much plain water and are drinking juice for the flavor.. then try watering it down little by little so eventually you're drinking a glass that's less than half juice and mostly water. This trick works great with Ocean Spray's grape juice.

well of course putting it into that context there would be a problem, as the person would be missing out on the essential macronutrients(Protein and Fats). If all of those bases are covered, sugar isn't going to have an impact on your physique in the long run /thread

Purchasing any liquids from the supermarket in hopes of providing your body with nutrients is a bad idea. This is simply because they (they = all juices and milks) have all been pasteurized. Once they've been pasteurized, all the enzymes (what makes it possible for your body to actually break down the food) vitamins, and minerals have been uber-torched, and killed off.
If you're looking for fruit, start with bananas... 41 cents per pound.
