Hate towards homosexuals in the Misc (serious)
A recent thread here in the Misc. made me realize just how strong the hate is for homosexuals. What the hell is up with that?
I don't want to start anything or get this thread locked for dragging racism into the issue - But there isn't a whole lot of difference in slating someone just because of their skin colour and slating someone just because of their sexuality - Same difference. You are personally insulting someone fuelled by idiocy, for something that effects you in no way what so ever.
What do you Miscers get from it? You know who you are.
I expect to get slated as a 'flaming homosexual' for this thread - But do you honestly think I care, no. I'm completely straight and I ain't insecure like most of the people on here who feel the need to maintain their "Tough SOB alpha status" on an internet forum.

Eh, it's just a lot of people are homophobic on here. Many guys aren't straight enough or confident in their sexuality that anything homo must be completely away from them or they fear being called gay.
The use of (no homo) also contributes to this, I see it used in a humorous way and that's fine, but when people make statements that aren't really gay and tag "(no homo)" at the end, it just really shows you how insecure they are about their own sexuality or how homophobic they are.
So I don't know... (no homo)
