Todays Tri workout included close grip bench, as it always does. We used chains today, bringing the total weight to 250 lbs.

Thanks brotha..
The chains weigh a combined 54 lbs when all the links are off the floor.
I got the chains on ebay, they were $100 for the big thick ones.
$25.00 for the collars.
I have about 135$ in them.
You can get them on any powerlifting website
Rocksolidfitness is one site that has them for sale.

Did week 7 of Ed coan today. First week that felt heavy and first week that I failed.
Flat 245x5x2 (Last rep was pretty difficult)
CG 215x5x2 (Easy)
Incline 205x5x2 Failed (Only got 4 reps on both sets)
I was pretty tired when I got to incline so I'm not too worried about it.Squat 335
Bench 295
Dead 495

Chest and core (7:20 PM - 9:40 PM):
Okay, this was anything but high-intensity. I spent a lot of time talking with someone, and I was waiting for Paul to get out of teaching MMA since I have ringworm and can't be on the mat for a few more days because of it.
BB bench press: 45x30, 135x8, 185x5, 205x2, 225x1, 245x1, 255x0 (got it off my chest)
The spotter waited about four seconds to pull up the 255x0, so my chest wasn't too happy about that. I felt my right chest knot up, and I didn't feel like doing much after that for fear of causing an injury.
Close-grip bench press: 225x1
Incline DB press: 70x5
I thought these would be better, but my chest felt a very slight discomfort in it when I got to the last few reps. I decided not to risk it, and called it.
Dragon flags: 8, 2
The 8 were done in such a way that I came within 5 degrees of hitting parallel. I feel a lot less compressive force on my back this way, and it still kills my abs. The second set of two was done with a lot stricter form, in the sense that I came down to parallel for each rep. I didn't like the way my spine was feeling on the second set though, so I stopped. I attempted a third set between the two, but ended up breaking a cable machine in the process (lol). See video.
Hanging l-sit: 35 seconds
Hanging leg raises (done quickly): 2x10
If nothing else, watch the video at 3:14. Lulz will be had, I promise.
