I can't wait to get to the point again where I can eat right when I wake up. I've been working on intermittent fasting for a month now where I don't eat anything from 7PM to 9AM. Working on getting insulin levels in check and keeping carbs way low. Took awhile to get used to it but I do feel a lot better. So breakfast is at 9 AM at work and I make these up on Sunday and cook each night to bring into office:
2 cups mixed veggies sauteed in olive oil (generally, peppers, onions, broccoli, spinach and yellow squash)
5 oz of Boar's Head turkey breast
2 eggs
After vegies and turkey breast are sauteed then toss in the eggs and make a big scramble out of it. Then add a TBLSP of salsa.Proud Army Vet, Husband and Father.

Cottage cheese with a handful of peanuts, 1 scoop of vanilla whey, and one packet of splenda all mixed in. Optional to add a drizzle of sugar free chocolate syrup before mixing
Yorkshireman I: Right! I had to get up in the morning, at ten o'clock at night, half an hour before I went to bed, eat a lump of cold poison, work twenty-nine hours a day down mill and pay mill-owner for permission to come to work, and when we got home, our dad would kill us and dance about on our graves, singing Hallelujah!

Upon waking:
1 protein granita (1 scoop of whey with 2 shots of Cool Brew, honey, cinnamon and milk blended with ice)
1/2 hour later:
3 eggs and 2 minute steaks
Yogurt or creole cream cheese with milk and Splenda
1 glass of water
supps
This morning however, I ate leftover bbq foods: 2 ribs, grilled veggies and a small grilled potato.
I read in an earlier post about donuts. I don't buy them but if someone put a box of Bavarian Creme Donuts or Chocolate Glazed Cake Donuts in front of me, I would eat one or two (and maybe sneak a third and hide in the bathroom.)
