I know not everyone has access to morel mushrooms since they are not commercially available. Morels grow in the wild during certain times of the year, and you have to go out and find them. So I'm lumping "Other" with morels.

Either mushroom can be prepared any way.

That is what I suspected. So I left it open ended with the option of another mushroom. Same thing with the deer/bison meat. Not everyone has access to venison. I potentially have a lifetime supply 43 yards from my back door. Yesterday I put 610 pounds of corn it by carrying 5 gallons buckets up and down the ladder. That was an alternate to lifting.

I've never heard of Cremini mushrooms. Where do you have access to these and that Japanese puffer fish? I have to make a 150 mile round trip drive just to get crab legs and raw oysters in the shell.

They're just smaller/younger Portobellos. My personal favorite.

Something about the holes in morels is icky. Though they do taste good.

Portobellos are good but over priced and not any better than cheaper smaller button mushrooms

Haha, i sometimes get the “baked cheese bites” at Trader Joes, literally just cheese that is baked until it hardens into puffy crisps. Well sometimes TJs changes up there stuff. So a few weeks later i open up the bag of cheese bites and throw some handfuls in my mouth, start chewing and spit them out. Tasted rotten. As I looked for the expiration date, i noticed the label said truffle underneath the cheese bites. Once i knew then it was fine. I like truffle fries etc, but it when it surprised me it tasted like the cheese was rotten.
