You could last quite some time off of cat and dog meat I'd imagine. But some basic fishing equipment would be good to have around, plenty of places to fish should SHTF. I assume more of a catastrophe in which many people die fast/immediately and not one where power grid goes down or something like that, in that scenario there would be less people to compete with for resources.

Still can't find a holster with a manual retention similar to the Blackhawk CQC that also supports a light for Glock 19. Sucks, but I just don't trust a holster without a manual retention. Had guns fall out of my other holsters (Bravo Concealment, ect.) during training.

To be fair, I started reloading in December 2019. Kept hearing "why would I reload when I can buy a case of 9mm/5.56 for $250?" Told everyone then that they'd regret being captive to the factory ammo supply.

Any generator brahs have experience with the Firman inverter generators from Costco? They're $100 off in the catalog that just came out ($349 all in), which puts them about $200 under the HF Predator 2000w model. I have a Predator and seems solid so far. Was thinking about picking up one of the Firmans on sale as an add-on/backup.

Or . . . just suck it up and consider buying another Predator at some point.

I prefer ear buds to the muffs (heh, muff). Might just go for it, I trust 3m enough as a company and a lot of reviews make me think people are expecting these to be as good as full ear muffs, the negative ones anyways. Few say batteries fail to charge after months, so that is there too.

Edit, grabbed these, I'll give them a go sometime next week. I use generic silicone buds now and the NRR is about the same and I like having the noise amplification as an option.

Never hear of them other than seeing them on shelves in Costco.

Would not buy hazard freight. We went over this before when I said they are inconsistent and unreliable and everybody praises their warranty for a reason. I think blump got two of them (predators), and I think he had to get both repaired or replaced
