This is cool, I'm "the JustTheDad" now. I must be moving up in the world lol
On topic, I think their patch wouldn't be dangerous with a carabiner, although I'd have 3 steel rings on a daisy chain made of the safety webbing and a bent gate carabiner attached to the belt by a short webbing sling. That would allow you height options. A chain hook would give you height options too, but again, I don't like hooks anywhere they can snag you or your clothing while you lift.
My son's friend just had his labrum repaired and can't do much, but he want us to weld up a belt squat. If we do, It will have a lever and a catch ball. Hard to believe they didn't think of that, so maybe I'm missing a weakness or danger in that design.

Any guys w/ REP's discontinued PR-3000 rack? I'm having a hard time finding rack attachments now that they discontinued it and the off size (listed as 2X3, but really (1.97x3.15). Any luck finding anything that will work? If I had I known they planned to discontinue and no longer support the model I would have purchased everything they offered.
I have always been satisfied with all my REP products (love my rack) , just sucks there is no support for it.

Duke,
I noticed that nearly everyone who uploads pictures of their 6-post PR-5000 V2's, they have black weight horns (with two mounting bolts). Your website shows the PR-5000 V2 with chrome weight horns (with one mounting bolt). If I were to place an order, is there a way to choose which version I'd like?

The local pickup is a great option. I haven’t seen many large fitness companies keep that up. Especially rogue. I am picking up random things from them whenever I get a few extra dollars to round out the gym

will Rep be offering to sell the Part of the lever arms that connects to the rack separate from the rest of the arm? I currently have arms that bolt to my rack and I'd like the adjustability. Also, will you be updating pics of the weight horns? Are the old one bolt weight horns gone?[]---[] Ivanko Barbell Crew #37 []---[]

I flipped a $320 Ohio Power Bar for $460. Took that money and ordered a second extension for my power rack to make it an 8 post rack and to mount the ISO arms in unobstructed. Tired of moving attachments. I currently have the front foot extensions I will eliminate on my rack which take up roughly 26" and the additional weight post extension only takes up 16". Bigger rack. Less space.

Wow...go sift through some of the REP Iso Arm threads on Coop's FB group, sounded like a great idea on paper that hasn't turned out so well. One guy bought a set that the safety pins wouldn't slot through, contacted CS, was told it will loosen up in time or if you want, take a grinder and open it up yourself. Not sure that's the CS response I'd like to hear. To REP's credit, someone went on the thread and said this response was unacceptable and they would obviously take care and correct the issue. Good on them for doing the right thing, my issue with it though is one shouldn't have to go to a public forum to get these sort of resolutions.

A guy I know got a set of the $200 Trolley arms from Rogue for his rack a while back. He had me come by and try them out. I had thought there would potentially be a a lot of good usages for them, when I went over to try them out, I found there wasn't as many good usages for them as I had thought. My friend ended up selling them, said they were a hassle to move and just didn't use them like he thought he would. I suppose at the right price, they could be worth having, but I wouldn't go out of my way to get a set.

I made a post on this a few weeks ago and got a lukewarm response. I watched several videos and only a few exercises looked appealing to me, mainly for rows and hip thrusts. Which can easily be done without them. They were all basically adaptations of everyday barbell/dumbell exercises.
I decided against them, partly because I don't have enough room on either side of my rack for them to swing all the way out, but even if I did have the room I would've probably declined.
