What a coincidence! I worked out for 6 days in a row one week and grew to 6'4'' and gained 80 pounds of lean mass while dropping 20 of fat! you should've seen the stretch marks...

the biggest thing that pisses me off is everyone's sense or lack of thereof for nutrition. It pisses me the hell off. take for example this new trans fat craze. evidently if something has 0g of trans fat( like EVERY fuking company is advertising on all their twinkies,yankee doodle,potato chips.....etc) it's okay to eat. **** that. Companys think that by displaying 0g of trans fat in big bold letters on the front of a potato chip bag with a nice pretty little green outline, it will make everyone eat their product.

today, a kid in my class said that he knew a guy that could deadlift 1500 pounds. I was like there is no way dude. then some other kid walked up and was like. "dude there are people that can deadlift over a ton". I just walked away amazed at how stupid poeple can be.

If I would've gotten R1 for every time I had a client tell me that, I'd be rich without having to personal train people 5 hours a day, 6 times a week!!

All you guys have to do is go to the female bodybuilding forum and you will see some funny stuff. My favorite one is the girl who said that her traps were getting too big after only working out for 3 months. She wanted to know why they got so big since she didn't do deadlifts, cleans, or any pulls.
Maybe she was shrugging her shoulders everytime someone asked her why she wasn't doing any pulling exercises and that is how her traps got so big.
Another popular one is the girls who won't squat anymore because it is making their legs too big. What they don't tell you is that their top squat was 50lbs before they quit.
When I was teaching an adult ed weightlifting class, a new girl came in who I knew, and she had just lost over 80lbs and wanted to start lifting. She worked out for 2 weeks and quit because she said she was getting too big and muscular. It's a good thing that the walls were padded because I spent about a half an hour banging my head against it.

One of my friends saw me drinking a protien shake and said, "I'm dissappointed. I thought you were all natural."
Other friends think I'm obsessed just because I follow a set routine in the gym and have an actual workout schedule. When I ask them how they workout, they reply, "Oh I just go to the gym when I have time and do whatever I feel like. A little bit of everything." Then they wonder why after months of "doing whatever" they look the same, even though they're taking enough protien shakes to feed a small country.In the final arena there will be no judges, only witnesses to my greatness
