Banana Nut Muffin QUEST BAR review

I bought a few single Banana nut muffin bars with an order. I absolutley love quest bars in general and its hard not to eat more then 2-3 at a time but with 20 grams of fiber not such a great Idea.

THe nutritional aspect of it is 10/10 but wish there was a little less fiber in them so I can eat more per day.


now on to the review...

I enjoy it microwaved because it brings out a little more flavor and is a nice texture though for some reason its not as filling.

Smell 10/10 when you open it up it smells exactly like a banana nut muffin. I mean exactly.

Taste: 9/10 This tastes great and has a good amount of real walnuts inside. It also has bits of banana pieces. It has more of a nutty flavor then a banana flavor, but the banana flavor is there. The only downside is I wish it had more of a banana flavor.


I put this up because 1) quests makes great protein bars and 2) I saw a few conflicting reviews on this flavor. some said it was amazing and some said it was horrible.

This bar is definately top 3 of the quest bars. I think Apple pie may be the best one.

In general, most people don't get enough fiber...especially those of use who eat a huge amount of protein and few(er) carbs. Granted, I don't eat Quest bars EVERY day, but I probably have 4-5 a week and occasionally 2 in a day and I've never had an issue in the bathroom.

Anyway, awesome review. I'm with you: BNM is definitely one of my favorites. My favorites are constantly rotating...for a long time it was Coconut Cashew...then it was PB Supreme for awhile...now it's probably Chocolate Brownie. The variety Quest comes out with is wonderful...and soon CCCD will be unleashed!!

I've eaten multiple in one sitting and the fiber content hasn't been an issue.
