At this moment - not banned but you'd be required to self isolate indoors for 14 days. Kind of would ruin a 2 week break. But I had said once things had eased.

Fingers crossed it's true then there'll be no fall spike and we can go (very nearly) back to normal again.

In the UK there is a lot of disagreement about the estimates for the proportion of population already exposed to SARS-COV-2. Estimates vary wildly and really there's much guesswork. Personally I'm going to pluck the figure out of my azz and state it's 10% (referencing the Cambridge modeling described here https://fullfact.org/health/19m-coronavirus-manchester/)

If the herd immunity level of 20% or so and exposure of 10% or so are accurate, in UK we're halfway there.

Adjust my any of my figures and assumptions +/- 200% for as needed because unfortunately we don't yet know. We'll see in time...

As for the strongman, I’ve lurked a little on that forum, but I have more interest in mature training groups. But yes, I have experience in that area both training and with associates.

Being short is very hard in that sport because the stone platforms are high and taller guys have big strides when carrying weights, yet being short can help in static events.

Lookup Gary Taylor, he was on the short side, yet won WSM in 1993. 1995 he bombed on an event due to his height, he couldn’t place a sandbag on the platform, even when pressing it.

Andrew “stumpy” Reigns made to the final in 2001 and he’s was very short, look him up. Pretty amazing, he weighed 260+ and wasn’t fat.

Nope no gym yet, moving in 21 days, should be in the gym within a day or so of that, if it's open. I built 2 home gyms over the years and never used either to their fullest potential, lost money on both of them lol. That was in a time when I had a commercial gym within a couple of miles of my house. Sure wish I still had one for times like this though. lol I need a commercial establishment to really enjoy it and bust my balls. I don't get distracted in a commercial gym and I love looking at the ladies in spandex.

I used watch a lot of strong man stuff, I don't know many of the competitors but I do enjoy watching it. Have a lot of respect for those guys, brute strength indeed.
