I'm 5 11 , 21 years old, 215 pounds and started going back to the gym to lose fat and build muscle at the same time. I was just wondering if 1400 calories a day plus 150-170 grams of protein a day would help me gain muscle and lose fat at the same time? I know I'll lose weight, but will I gain any muscle, considering I am eating so little calories?
EDIT: Majority of that protein is whey protein shakes.
