Hi everyone,
I was fortunate enough to get picked to Alpha Test Animal's new "Project F"
Just laying the groundwork here, I am 41 years old and have been lifting for years, I am a die hard fan of the Universal and Animal products, and want to give 100% honest feedback to help get another outstanding product on the market.
I will be doing a high cardio workout regimen, and plan on getting a couple of hard gym sessions in during this trial run.
Current stats:
5'9"
182lbs
~16% bf
My all time PRs on the big 3 lifts are:
Squat - 425
Dead - 455
Bench - 275
Right now due to job and family obligations I am not in the gym regularly, however I am running and riding my bicycle consistently. I hope to bring a different perspective to this product.
Stay tuned!

Hey, thanks for joining the party!
Project F review:
Here is my initial reaction to Project F…
Took it around 30 minutes prior to the workout, 12oz of water. Mixed great, just a couple of shakes in the ‘ol Animal shaker cup and it was ready to rock
Flavor: Green Apple- flavor was great, on point, just a hint of a “mediciney” taste, but overall enjoyable!
Reaction: in just a few minutes I started feeling the beta alanine tingles, reminded me of OG Rage, and I was happy! In a few more minutes the energy blend started taking effect, so I went back to the weight room and started to attack the Iron piles.
I did an arm routine to feel out the pump properties, and here were my observations….
A few sets in I really started to feel my arms pumping up, and my focus was laser sharp, however my vascularity was pretty much non-existent. (With Shock Therapy I always have veins popping)
The energy was clean with no jitters, or over-caffeinated symptoms. However I noticed that my “Laser Focus” started dropping around 30-40 minutes in, but the energy levels were still good.
I finished up the routine in around an hour and fifteen minutes, and finished the day off with Juiced Aminos.
Looking forward to trying the fruit punch flavor tonight. My plan is to do a leg routine and see how this performs. My Project F ATP log:

Here I sit, waiting for "F" to kick in...
So I figured I would give my thoughts on the Fruit Punch flavor.
Mixability is good, I was looking for foam this time, and while there was a little on the top, it quickly dissipated.
The flavor though, is OK, but sour... I feel it would be better used in a cherry type. To me it was like a fruit punch flavored sour patch kid... it is decent, and better than the Hawaiian Pump shock therapy for sure.
Today I am running it on an empty stomach to see what happens. I plan on hitting some legs in a few....My Project F ATP log:

Well, it might be one you will want to wait for….
Today I was underwhelmed by Project F. I went in for a light(er) leg day and wanted to more or less push the pump, started off with lighter squats and then some SLDLs then conventional deads, finally finishing off with calf raises.. here is what went down.
Body weight lunges and stretching before
Squats: Barx10, 135x10x2, 225x10x2, 275x10,6, 295x5
SLDL: 135x10, 185x10, 10
Deads: 135x10, 225x10, 275x6, 325x5x2
BW Calf Raises (Single leg): 5x25
By doing this I was hoping for an outstanding skin-splitting pump, but was sadly let down. After the “tingles” faded, it felt like I had just had an energy drink or something preworkout. Now don’t get me wrong the energy I felt was super clean, I had a “well rested” feelingand felt really good, but that was about it, never got locked in fully.
The focus that I felt yesterday was non-existant, and neither was the pump. I had hoped to really flood the calves with some blood at the end but other than just the normal pump, there was nothing spectacular about it. I don’t know if it is because I ran this today on an empty stomach, and it passed right through or what…
But the next trial will be on my next run (which will be fun after this leg day) we will see how it does on a 3-5 mile treck.
The plus side was there was no “bubble-guts” crash, or jitters even on an empty stomach. My Project F ATP log:

I have tried both flavors, but I didn't take any, my stomach was just funky all day the other day.
Well, I have powered out 3 runs, each around 3 miles. Taking Project F and waiting for the "tingles" to start then I begin my run, so around 15 minutes after I take it... I have felt a great clean energy, and my heart rate doesn't shoot through the roof while pushing my pace. I was able to shave a minute off my average times, so it is able to help me perform well.
There is no problem with my legs pumping up while running, however when I am through, my calves definitely start to pump up.
I am averaging 8:15 miles for the runs I have taken.
Unfortunately I just switched job positions, so I may not be able to log in a bike ride, but I am hoping to.
So far Green Apple is my favorite... and I still think the Fruit Punch would work better as a sour cherry flavor. My Project F ATP log:

Project “F” Review:
First I would like to thank Animal for giving me the opportunity to test this out. As promised I am here to give honest feedback…
FLAVOR: Apple 10/10 Fruit Punch 7.5/10
The flavor of the apple was great, sour and reminicent of a Jolly Rancher candy. I found it enjoyable to drink
The flavor of the Fruit Punch was good, it was a FAR cry better than the the Shock therapy version, however the sourness of the flavor was a little out of place for me here. As I have said I think a good cherry flavor would fit nicely here.
ENERGY: 6.5
This is where this product gets a little tricky… energy is pretty good right out of the gate, the “tingles” are a welcome effect, and it is a clean energy, no jitters or hard crashes… However it is a fleeting feeling. I started coming down from this within 20 minutes, and felt “back to normal” within 40.
FOCUS: 5
The first time I took Project “F” the focus was great! But on the subsiquent uses of it it too was a fleeting thing, where I would say after 10 minutes it was not there any more
PUMP: 7
The pump factor is kind of a little different for me, due to the fact that most of my usage of this was during distance running… I did manage a couple of true weight workouts with it and the pump was decent with arms and chest, however I didn’t get much during a leg day, and for me vascularity was nonexistant… I did train once with Shock Therapy as well during this test, Veins popped that time.
ENDURANCE: 8
Here is where I noticed some good benefits, this product was great for my 3 mile runs, I was able to push my pace well, and the stims didn’t elevate my heart rate and gas me early, I was actually able to push to sub 8 minute miles for all three miles on a couple of runs. But when I took it up to 5 miles I noticed the drop-off in energy. If this product had a little more longevity it would rate a “10”.
SHOULD THIS PRODUCT BE RELEASED:
I don’t think so. This product would be great for another supplement company, but in my opinion it is not up to Animal standards. After a revamp, where it will last a bit longer, be a bit stronger then yes, I would be on board to pick up some Apple “F”. For now though I would use Shock Therapy over this for workouts, and Rage over this for energy. My Project F ATP log:
