Decided on a whim to pull tonight for the first time in about a year and a half. Not only is the nerve in my lower back no longer pinching at lockout(which is why I stopped pulling all together), I muscled up a 606 single which ive never done raw before. Was slow at the top and the movement pattern felt weird because it's been so long but was nice to break a PR by 30+ pounds the first time out and deadlift pain free.
I guess I'll have to start adding them back in slowly now that I can pull without my spine detaching from my pelvis.
Anyone have a good deadlift program?

I'm surprised how honest he is with where his wraps are coming from. So general leathercraft had a bunch of paki stuff too? I thought they're the actual manufacturer of the good elastics. These companies need to get their **** together and stop being so inconsistent with their quality. If you're gonna tell people you sell the best wraps around then sell them the good ****. And instead of having 34 different types of wraps on your website, why not just focus on selling 3-5 and make them good as fuk? Inzer/Titan/Harris might not have the most aggressive wraps but at least their quality is always top notch and consistent.
That's a big reason why my death row wraps are tucked away. I know how good they are and PBG is super sketchy right now so I want to save them for when I really need them.
Back to no deadlifting for a year and a half? I'll take a 30lb PR without deadlifting any time.My training log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=129669663

What's the grippy material some people recommend to put on benches if they're slippery?

7 revs is usually the minimum for a good wrap job.
I tweaked my back when squatting in nov 2014, after that I could pull pain free until about 3 inches from lockout, and then got a stabbing pain right around l5-s1. Didn't matter sumo or conv. Tried to pull every so often since then, and as soon as I got more than 315 on the bar id get stabbing pain at lockout, so I just stopped training them and did post chain accessories instead.
Turns out you get a lot stronger at squatting when you don't have to recover from pulling. Im naturally a much better puller than squatter but now it's the other way around. I think if I can train pulls pain free again I'll see some nice progress, considering my squat has gone up ~100kg since then.

Tweaked / strained my left oblique drying off from the shower today. No fukking clue how it happened. Spotting and loading at a meet tomorrow. Dis gon be gud.
Also I'm a few sessions in with the THPs so far, really liking them. They are really stretchy and give a huge rebound out of the bottom I find.YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/user/NorthStrongSC

Hi fam. Recorded a vid from behind of my squats and noticed bar unevenness/one elbow higher than the other. Has anyone experienced this? Any tips.

Hi fam, first time poster long time stalker. Ordered PBG knee wraps nearly three weeks ago and have yet to receive a tracking number. I know it's well documented their customer service is horrible but has anyone ordered from them and what's the expected arrival time if there is any.

Anyone here squat wide-ish and have trouble keeping hips open/knees out? Wut do?
I find towards the bottom it requires a lot of mobility and my knees go a little in. May or may not be contributing to glute/low back pain that I get now and then. It's not always there, and I find with pause squats I hold position a lot better than normal squat.202.5/135/245. Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=165241801.

Around the hole (up or down) my knee will sorta "twitch" as it tries to maintain positioning but it's kinda tough. Knees don't go in much at all, it's quite subtle, but it may contribute to issues if the glute isn't firing as much.
I don't like how wide it is, but I can't really do any narrower due to my injury. I realise it's a bit ironic but narrow = definite pain regardless of knees maintained out. Whereas this width, whilst pretty darn wide, is best I can do to mitigate some pain and it doesn't always hurt which is best I can do for now.
(Seen few PTs etc. but nothing has helped much, kinda just given up on it)202.5/135/245. Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=165241801.

Good luck with that, I think Martin waited several months and had to file a bunch of complaints to get his.
I ordered mine last year and got them in 4 weeks but that was before problems arose
Move your heels in slightly but keep your toes out. Start with a couple cm per side and go from there.
Start doing all the glute med and core strength work.
The slight twitch inwards on the way up is your quads firing to reverse the bar and isn't an issue unless you have knee pain. If it's happening on the way down that's a different story.

Squats just have too many variables. High/middle/low bar, flats/heels, sit back/sit down, knee out/knees forward, feet out/feet forward, wide/medium/narrow stance, wide/medium/narrow grip, thumbless/thumbs around grip, elbows back/elbows under..
I can see why people go push/pull, figuring out what works for you in the squat is a ****ing nightmare

Any video of Eric L's squat yet?
Also at the meet I was spotting and loading at today (CPU meet, exceptionally well run meet), I entered the raffle prize draw thing... and i won!

We can bash the IPF on various levels but at least if someone tells you X did Y lift in 99.99% of cases you don't have to question it.
I can't unrack that, though.202.5/135/245. Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=165241801.
