Just got my wrist cast off. 3 weeks of nothing whatsoever over with and now 6 weeks of physical therapy. I thought the entire process would be 3 weeks....not 9. But now ill start hitting legs every other day and see if i can bring up my calves.
Then my other wrist gets done after. So 18 weeks total
Start weight 172. Current weight 163.5 Estimated final weight? Im guessing low 150s. Maybe sub 150MS, Computer Science

I am hoping to grow into the show just like my idol Philip Heath, so at least not lose any weight, as this is what I have done before while gaining size. So I should be around 190-195 show time and pretty lean.
Anyone else want to join in? Not too late....still almost 8 weeks of training and dieting left.
I feel like most who are not competing aren't doing so because they feel like they wouldn't look good enough (in their own version of what that is). But getting leaner and pushing yourself a bit harder, how will you NOT be able to look better?
Just do it for yourself, not the competition and then use the actual competition as just a little extra kick in the butt.
I am VERY excited to see how everyone is going to look. Good luck to everyone again.

hans zimmer is amazing
i didn't think we were doing routines? or is b-neva yanking my chain
i like choosing songs that start out slow and have some faster rhythms toward the end/middle, so i loooove Levrone's 2002 mr o routine, which is what i used for my show. (creed- who's got my back).
this one is also good

Nah he's not doing it mate. I believe he said he's taking a couple years off since that last prep was incredibly tough on him. Started in Dec' 2013 and the show was June 2014.
I don't want to toot his horn but this shot here still blows my mind. Not only his conditioning but the conditioning of his competitors, it just doesn't make sense. I believe he was the lightest in this line up too but the he had the illusion of being larger because of the shape he was in (inb4 stepping over the line).
Something for you guys doing this prep to aim for.
A pattern in the chaos.

Heheheheh. Everyone is getting their posing music lined up. Are we doing that now? I would think that I am starting out this prep in a pretty good condition, as I am hovering around 9-10% bodyfat. I never do bulking the way most guys do, so I like to gain size while maintaining lower bodyfat.
So 9-10% being my walk around bodyfat, I am really curious to see how much leaner my body will be able to get. It will be interesting.
I have started a lifting a bit heavier in the past few weeks, but still really careful about form and monitoring my body for any signs of old injuries coming back. I want to improve, but also do not want to push my body to the point of breaking.

i feel like there's only a few people still doing this lol.
guess i came back to the gym doing legs too soon with too much weight.. i keep inflaming a ligament i think near the knee, which causes pain every time i bend my leg (for a couple days). its gone now but im gonna have to do much less weight for maybe a couple weeks and gradually work up. and 'warm down' better.
also i think i tried dieting too fast, like 5 lbs in 10 days and i feel a lot of it has been muscle :/
ima look like poop on 'show' dayLast edited by SammyJr; 08-05-2015 at 02:13 PM.

yeah, after my leg injury in april 2014 i pretty much took a year off to recover from everything. definitely took way too much time off but whatever. i feel so much weaker now and look noticeable worse, though i've only been working out for ~3 weeks.
i really think it was just really bad luck. my form was atrocious when doing the hammy curls and i deserved to get injured. every other injury was from taking so much time off from exercising, so now i just need to get back into it slowly and i think i can stay injury free (and lean)
id like to continue what i was doing b4 i got injured. get very lean and do a slow reverse so i can try to minimize fat gain and only gain muscle. so maybe ill start my reverse in october and finally start dieting in may for my november 2016 showFull Blown Baby
