BTN Push Press? that is about as specific as you can get lol. I do not do those so the likelihood of that being the next competition is pretty slim. Push press actually stands a better chance and I don't do those either
Does your username have anything to do with your faith by chance?
Also, I love overhead press but not nearly as many people go max weight on press as benchpress. Everybody wants a heavy answer to "How much you bench, bro?" but no one seems to care what you can press which is a shame because I consider a 2 plate press more impressive than a 3 plate bench.You would be surprised just how much time I have to waste.

I wholeheartedly agree with the no jerking rule, but strongman does allow jerk just to be a stickler.
. This make me happy. Any rough estimate on when you'd put it on? I'm considering cutting (don't worry I'll still be SHW, my weight gain has stalled so I'm gonna cut then work back up to this size with more muscle and less fat)PRs:
Squat: 630 (sleeves)
Deadlift: 735 (straps)
Strict OHP: 330
Log Clean & Press: 360

I was thinking of starting it mid-October, but in order to have it not run through Christmas I might start it early October, maybe the 1st since my press day is on Thursdays
I do not think I will be using strongman rules for that one. It would be something like a "freestyle" press competition. Rules being start with the bar under your chin, lock the bar over head, and dont jerk the bar. behind the neck or in front of the neck are allowed.You would be surprised just how much time I have to waste.

For any of the winners still subbed to this thread,I ask again that you guys put in some reviews on these products that you won. It makes it a lot easier to beg for more prizes on the next competition if my Supp Reps can show the boys in corporate that there is something to be gained for them(other than the reward of being classy like me)

I just wanted to update that 6 months later, on a calorie deficit this whole time, I weigh over 30lbs less tha I did in my last post. And I just hit 455 x 1!!! Hoping to hit 500 by the end of the year!

My year end update... 8 months ago I was able to pull 325 x 2. Two weeks ago I pulled 505 & felt like I could've easily added another 10lbs. This was done while on Lyle McDonald's keto diet only getting 800 cals/day. Looking forward to 2016 & hoping to break 600!!
