    Exclamation no carbs diet

Recently got back into training... I've got muscle, but I'm not shredded or anything... My personal trainer has me on a no carbs diet, so basically all i can have is seafood, certain veg, white meat etc for at least 1 month...
When I've read up on the diet is get mixed reports, some say it's ok but then some say it's dangerous to cut them out completely? This is what the pharmacists where I work (in a hospital) have also said?

Anyone shed any light? Much help!

Your trainer is an idiot, fat loss comes from a calorie deficit not the elimination of one macro without context.

Start with nutrition- learning the basics about calorie and macro/micro nutrients and how they will help you reach your goals, read-

There's nothing inherently wrong with having a client try keto. If it works for them, it can be a valuable tool for weight loss and calorie control. Not ideal for a beginner with low muscle mass, but for an intermediate lifter with a decent muscle base, it's worth a shot. Not to mention there are numerous health benefits to a low/no carb diet.

I think if you actually check your macros (which you should be doing anyway) you'll find you don't take in zero carbs

Very good example of how it can be beneficial, and these are factors that the calorie reduction hypothesis alone simply ignores.
