thats a mystery.. here is my story:
I went from 115kg (~240lbs) to 85kg (~180lbs) and then I got stuck.. weight was not going down at all.. even having 1000kcal deficit a day (nothing changed during the last 7-14days of this diet, everything got stuck, weight stopped going down).. but before that the weight was going down super fast. as I said I lost like 30kg (70lbs)
my diet was based on protein and fruits mostly...
I still could see unclean stuff below my chest and on abdominal area.. and it wasnt disappearing even after super strict diet and workouts..
I wonder could anyone explain this mystery to me pls?

On drastic cuts like that, water retention may sometimes masks fat loss.
You may be losing fat, its just that you are retaining water and scale does not change. My Powerlifting "Road To Manlet" Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=172129323

I couldnt see any progress on my lower chest area.. and lower abdominal area (''unclean'' substance was still hanging down - seemed like fats). i doubt it was a retention of water.. I started to suspect loose skin. I checked my body fat.. it showed 17%+..
I thought if its a loose skin anyway.. then gaining a magnificent amount of muscles would tighten it.. and sort the things out. so I started putting on muscles.. now I weigh 105kg (~230lbs).. and my body fat % still remains same. and my definition looks same as it was when I was weighing 85kg (~180lbs).. no better no worse.
thats a mystery to me.

I WAS 180lbs and eating 1000-1500kcal. I know it was a very strict diet.
now Im 230lbs.. I gained a lot of muscles since that diet. Im thinking to start a cutting diet.. to get rid of those stubborn fats once and for all. I wonder would consuming 2000-3000kcal a day.. and having 600kcal deficit would work better? than in my previous case consuming 1000-1500kcal and having 1000kcal deficit? I never thought about metabolism before.. everything what I was thinking about was to eat as little as possible and to burn as many kcal as possible..

Aim for a 20% deficit from TDEE, hit protein and fat minimums; fill out remaining calories with pro/fat/carbs as you want.
