Nothing serious... its just that many a times, people take it for temporary tightness or chronic simple pain but it can turn out to be much stubborn and serious problem. It's better to be cautious than sorry. Do you feel any "friction" between back muscles when elevating, depressing scapula ? or shrugging and pinching?
If the therapy is working... good for you. Recover soon.

Yeah I mean I've never had a lingering/chronic pain so I've been under the impression (but hoping it's not) it could be more serious. I don't think I notice anything between back muscles, I get a lot of tightness, popping, and soreness in my shoulders. Just very tight erectors (in general, not when moving my scapula) and it feels like things are moving in there (lower back). Also my hips there's a lot of popping say, when I stand up after sitting for a while. Or if Im compressing those joints there's pain. Cracking in my knees, tight ankles..I feel like a mess sometimes :/ But yeah the past two weeks I've seen definite improvement from therapy.

Do you feel any dizziness? numbness? headaches? and do you sit in the same posture for long hours ?
Did the doc check the Sacroiliac joint and surrounding area ? have you been checked for osteoarthritis ? many athletes see high uric acid and calcium levels too. But that's a different story. I think if the therapy is showing significant promise, then all is well.
It's just that I have many close people who have either suffered from similar problems or specialise in alternate therapies of sports injuries.

EDIT: edit:- Fibromyalgia , like many other chronic problems is said to have been associated with genetics too. So there is a possibility. Nothing wrong in being preventive.Last edited by AdamantiumYoke; 02-10-2015 at 06:47 AM.

only the past couple months having to sit long hours. I get numbness in my feet and toes, that's been going on for quite some time. And when I sit for a while I sometimes get pins and needles in my leg. It's not too often tho. Headaches too, altho not so much, used to get really bad migraines with visual auro up until a couple years ago, haven't had one in a while.
No they didn't check the sacroiliac joint/area. Haven't been checked for anything else. I have an appointment today I'll bring these things up.

For some reason he reminds me of a friend of mine who's above 30% bodyfat
"Do a full rep"
"Why do you wear gloves while training?"
"The smith machine doesn't count"
"Machines are for pussies"
"You guys are small."
"You see that bicep vein coming out?"
"Oh somebody skipped leg day"
You'd think one would learn after few trips to the doctor for injuries in under a year, no?

yeah i thought long gaps were also good, but I think im going too long. Plus I think I know one major contributor to my knee pain. Or at least I hope this is it. I went from 171 lbs to 180 lbs in only about 2 weeks (mostly creatine), so I hope all that weight is what was placing stress on the joints. idk tho. Strangely enough my strength hardly went up.
Sometimes they do pass the toes, so I gotta be more mindful of that, I hear that's pretty bad on the knees
What's weird is what really starts to hurt my knees is driving. Hitting the pedal and releasing etc has really been taxing on my right knee. Also it tends to feel painful even sitting down doing nothing. :/
I bought a ton of joint supplements so I'm really hoping my knees feel better very soon.

If your knee hurts just from driving and even while doing nothing, there's gotta be an underlying injury because thats not normal lol.
Also if you wanna get something better to supplement your joints, puritanspride has a msm, chondroitin and glucosamine 2x a day pill that is cheap as hell in bulk. You can even get a vitamin d3 supp. I remember taking cissus when i first got injured and it helped somewhat but was too expensive to keep getting

Sammy you are a crack up like always. Your body hurting is basically your body letting you know that something you are doing it not working. Instead of taking all of these supplements try to figure out what it is that is hurting you.
I admire your hard work ethic, but sometimes doing less is doing more, especially if you are going to be injured and not able to train as the other option.

yeah im not sure what it is. I asked my doctor some stuff but it seems like I'm just gonna be hopeful that the joint pills kick in soon.
yea i shoul've gotten the 3-in 1 glucos/msm/chon. nvr heard of puritanspride tho.
my doctor said he doesn't think it's the 10 lb weight gain in 2 weeks. So I think it was from too much weight with atrophied legs, combined with poor form. I will use the joint supps, and once the pain stops, I'll go back to doing legs but with half the weight, steadily increasing weight, and better form. And more volume.. I've been focusing on weight but not the 'intense burn' from failure and increased volume/ToT
mirin?
hm i've never heard of that. there's only like 5 reviews on amazon products with that and not many products :/Full Blown Baby
