With all this talk of Green and Khudayarov, I think people are forgetting about a certain russian lifter in a lighter weight class that could potentially out-total either of them depending on the day.

Yeah! today Andrey Belyaev win 1st place , sum: 835 kg (260-205-370 kg). in kat. 90kg . that real east for him, but he come to teach guys , but organisator ask him participate in competitions.

Oh wow. That's pretty low (for him) for his squat/bench. Wonder if we'll ever see him in top form again.

Watching yesterday's footage it seems there isn't much excitement in the crowd.

Right? The event didn't seem like it had much of a crowd at all. Pretty disappointing for a "worlds" competition. Wonder if everyone was just waiting till today.

I heard Belyaev weighed in at 91kg.

I was looking forward to the Green vs Zahir battle... but if he hits that 1000lbs squat like he did in training, but a few inches deeper, it won't matter what weight he is

With such big time lifters it seemed like these guys were lifting in a library or something lol. Hopefully today is a bit better with Dan Green lifting and all.

He didn't get a squat command so it was his right to try to unrack again. I think the mono was too high, he had them lower it.
