you idiot, all you need is membership to a hunting group or other such proof that you have legitimate use for one, then get a license/permit and you can go buy a gun

hell, simply owning a farm and saying 'i needa shoot rabbits' is enough to get a permit

Based on stuff i've seen on TV, I would say the cops in the US are more aggressive and hardcore than cops here. The cops here are rude and snarky but they don't tend to bash people senseless like they do in the US. I always watch the show Cops and it seems like your cops are basically thugs in uniforms, lol.

Anyway, most of the streetfights you see here involve lebs, aboriginals or bogan white guys (no racist) ("bogan" is aussie slang for lower class fuks).

Nowadays its' pretty bad. With vile animal sh*t like werldstar everyone goes for maximum damage, zero control while intoxicated. Hit to a downed opponents are normal, and it's very rarely a fair 1vs1, groups will run in straight away. You get little *******s who know this and act tough wherever they go, but if they were locked in a room by themselves they would sh*t spray the walls. There's a lot of "one hit/king hits" to people, so you always have to be on the look out. The days of a 1vs1 fight, and leaving a downed opponent are gone. Fighting is primitive but it can be somewhat honorable if you realize you've won and walk away. Too many tough khuntz lifting with pea-sized brains. They internalize any conflict with anger because their brain doesn't know what else to do.

comparing to the americans though which is what the op asked. i think americans would blow out as to how low our access to guns is and to own a gun it has to be locked in a safe in our house and cops have permission to rock up at our house at anytime to check if the gun is locked up. that restriction sorta paved the way to streets fights without further escalation. well at least thats how it is in nsw

most fights i see out on the town are pretty chit, usually like twenty people involved and 10 minutes of yelling for every punch. fobs/lebs will beat people up walking home by themselves or in a small group, the only people i'm really scared of heading out on the town are abos because they'll just straight up try and kill you in public in the midst of an ice rage.
