I'm not talking strictly in terms of Olympia wins. But in terms of 20+ years competing, and ALWAYS looking amazing, still looking amazing. No abnormal things going on with his body, no huge injuries or disasters. When Dexter is "off", he is still better than most competitors "on" forms.
The guy honestly has to be the GOAT bodybuilder if you consider his history.

Dex is up there, but Ronnie and Levrone technically the winningest bodybuilders of all time. I would also give Cutler a vote (although most would likely disagree). 12 consecutive years of top 2 finishes at the Olympia and 3 consecutive Arnold Classic titles. Mr. O runner up x 6 and Mr. O winner x 4 not to mention AC winner x 3.

Most consistent over the long period , yes .. the greatest ? No (IMO)
quantitatively, by percentage number of wins in pro career, Arnold and Dorian are the greatest I think (by stats only){but just numbers don't count}
and Jay is up there too as Canuck said ( BOTH quantitatively and qualitatively )
And just being qualitative , Ronnie, Haney , Arnold , Dorian crushed and dominated the opposition strongly. Dex never did that, from what I know.
So , Dex is surely one of the best ever , has been competing and ranking highly for so many years , while being healthy.. but calling him the Greatest will be an exaggeration.

He's definitely one of them. He could keep going similar to beckles and vince Taylor. Definitely the o winner with the most longevity. He's top 5 ever IMO

I always say this, but if I was commissioned to make a Mr. Olympia trophy out of one bodybuilder's physique, it would be Dexter's..
