I've only watched the beginning and not surprised Phil doesn't know much about nutrition. Does't understand what iffym is and disputes it.

Almost no pros do. I remember when Jason Huh posted people were asking him about IFFYM and he was like "huh? what's that?"
If anything it goes to show what things pay off if you want to be a bodybuilder. In-depth physiological and nutritional knowledge are far from the top of the list.We're dodging more ninjitsu attacks than Flex Wheeler. We're ducking more bullets than George Farah. We're facing more death than a kid leg pressing at Branch Warren's gym.

They reference it indirectly. Phil says Mr O can't say certain things, but that even his friends/family took a while to understand how he transformed so much one year to the next. Marc talks about Evan being more open about it since he's not Mr O, Phil says he'd like to write a "tell all" book once he's done to say what really goes on.

It was interesting enough (I did watch the whole video) but I will try and bite my tongue as I don't want to sound overly negative for something that was done for his fans et. As someone stated on YouTube, for every statement that he made that came across as intelligent or interesting (and there were quite a few), there were just as many that had a tone of arrogance, immaturity or self entitlement (imo). I will just leave it at that. Great of him to do this for his fans though, I definitely respect that.

Yeah, Dorian Yates didn't know sht when he was eating candy bars and protein shakes as his postworkout meal during contest prep. Neither Ronnie know anything when he was eating fries with BBQ sauce during contest prep too.
I don't think pro bodybuilders are so dumb that don't know that IIFYM works. I just think they pretend to say it's best to "eat 6 small clean meals a day" just so they can justify people buying their whey/whatever supplements they promote.
Jose Raymond was eating muffins preworkout in a recent video and he is shredded to the bone.

Or it could prove that IIFYM is a complete waste of time if you are a serious competitor. Of course if you are trying to go from 30% bodyfat down to 15% bodyfat, it might work great for you. Trying to maintain sub 10% year round and peaking for a show at 4-5%, it just doesn't make much sense.

I thought the video was great. Not the biggest Heath fan but dont hate the guy. Worth a watch, especially if your doing cardio. Those who wants cliffs id say its about:
