We are supposed to key in the overstock on the gun..basically enter a 6 digit number for each item. But there's no time to do that chit. So I just leave a cart of boxes with numbers on them and my manager is probably going to re order all that **** tomorrow because it wont show up in his inventory. Lol but guy is a huge douche anyway and is mad as fuk he's been working there for 33 yrs.

I used to be a manager and had to do the counts every single day for several hundred to several thousand items. Basically, my depts had around 100,000 items, and they had to be scanned once per month. Many times, the co-managers would not approve the counts! 2-3 hours of work every day would go down the drain, orders would be all wrong, inventory all wrong, everything wrong....all the while I had to do other projects and take care of the customers. I also do Grocery but mainly help the head dairy guy. 5 people went on holidays the past 2 weeks and we were already short staffed so guess who got to pick up the slack, this guy. I would quit right now if I could but I need the cash for car payments, and it's nice to have a little spending money saved for rainy days. Planning to do some school upgrading this fall and work 1-2 days a week or find another part time job if I'm lucky.
