That 372.5 was a gift. It's strange too because it seems the judges had been strict on WR attempts until that point.

Ray Williams is a boss. Also, Mike T has guts to go for it, hopefully one of these days he'll finally get a gold.
Some observations comparing just one year's development at Unequipped Worlds:
Last year the best men's wilks was 521.51, which in this year's competition would be the 7th highest wilks.
Every single class had increased totals, some quite significant (mostly thanks to Fedosienko and Williams)
59: ****kgs
66: +10kgs
74: +1.5kgs
83: +10kgs
93: +37.5kgs
105: +27.5kgs
120: +40kgs
SHW: +52.5kgs

How tall is Frasquillo Shawn Andryukhin Mikhail, they both actually look "tall" for their classes on camera, but i wasnt there so cant compare. Anyone got a guestimate or met them at worlds ?

Mike T seemed to have a pretty good day and went 8/9 up until his 390 attempt to try and snatch the win. Even then he totalled 915, only 1.5kg under his old WR, so if he wasn't under the gun he could've added another 10-15kg. Unfortunately for him Bouafia was on point this year, 375 squat of peace.
Edit: Fun fact - his 390 was the heaviest attempted deadlift at an IPF world meet since 2011.

Some interesting/random info from IPF Raw Worlds:
498 total lifters (Women = 179, Men = 319)
The Open class winners made an average of 7.3 attempts (Women = 6.9, Men = 7.8).
There were 11 total bomb-outs (7 SQ, 2 BP, 2 DL).
SQUAT
12.4% of all lifters missed their SQ opener and 81% of that group went on to miss another SQ attempt. This really demonstrates how missing your SQ opener creates a negative wave of momentum for most lifters.
37% of all lifters missed their 3rd SQ.
BENCH PRESS
2% of all lifters missed their BP opener and 2% of that group went on to miss another BP attempt.
DEADLIFT
2.4% of the lifters missed their DL opener and 58% of that group went on to miss another DL attempt.
46.3% missed their 3rd DL. Obviously, there are always a high percentage of lifters missing 3rd DLs as they’re going for medals, placing, etc.
25% of all lifters missed both their 3rd SQ and 3rd DL.
-Largest meet in history by number.
-166 World records set/broken.
-Only 29 referees.
-Team USA had 67 lifters.
-Over 10,000 eggs were consumed.
-Could be looking at 700 lifters next year with the meet going 10 days.1372 @ 205
