Just saw this, looks like a good idea, any idea how the sizes work? I'd assume the 10-19 is arm circumference? but what is the difference between the 4" and 5" versions?

So I got back home today. Tomorrow is my nephew's birthday, and after that I'm heading back out to my grandfather's.
I figured I needed to update you guys on a few of my recent acquisitions.

Two 50's/60's briefcases:



Grabbed these two badboys for $5 at a flea market in Quakertown (PA brahs may be aware; about an hour away from me)
I'm having a hell of a time getting info on them... I've spent a lot of time googling around and can't find anything
about the company that made them. repping any valuable info.



Red & Navy wool ties:



$1 a piece at my local thrift store. Can't remember the brand (probably not worth mentioning anyway). They are nice
though, and for $1 I'm more than happy.



J.Crew Factory Carson duffel:



Grabbed this for like $30 a few weeks back when it was on sale. I love it - I'm gonna grab some wax next month
and make it waterproof. It's able to carry a surprising amount of stuff for its size.



Sartoria Costangia blazer:



Fits like a dream. Excuse the chitty picture quality, it can't be helped. It's made out of 90% bamboo and 10% seta - have never heard of either (Well, at least in terms of fabrics). Any aware a brother on that? Especially the bamboothing, I'm confused af. Either way, it's incredibly comfortable.



Sperry Topsider... jacket?



Anyone know anything about this? It was $20 on ebay and I'm awaiting it's arrival (damn you USPS). I bought it from a
consignment seller, but the guy said he thrifted this himself. Reps for any info.

Burzan, got a raw demin question for you. I got some Unbranded jeans in January. I have been wearing them 2-3 days per week for the past couple months and haven't seen much fading or changes in the color. How long does it usually take for the fading to start showing?

I found that it takes about half a year for things to start coming through. I typically wear them 2-3 times per week and dont shower them until they reek.

Omegas are just as good of quality as Rolexes, except they are at a better price. I own a Titanium Seamaster.

Ehhhhhhhhh, rolexes are really on another level. Understandably so with the higher price tag. The fit and finish on my Tudor are definitely a step above my omega, and any omega I've handled thus far. I would look into a Tudor as your next luxury watch.

Omegas are very nice, but can sometimes seem a little sloppy for their price range.

Nothing bad to say but not my cup of tea. Rather have an Omega Aqua terra for a cheaper price And Equally as much style (In the millgauss style). Only would buy a Rollie Sub or Daydate/Oysterdate(Own one)/Datejust.

I wanted a beater suede pair of double monks which I could casually use without being concerned about having them damaged in the rain or any other situation. Finally found a decent pair at a ridiculously low price due to Nordstrom's half-yearly sale from their 1901 in house brand. I own two other pairs of suede wingtips from this same brand (have had a good overall experience with them as the pairs have held up well thus far), and to round out the beater collection these came in nicely...I would recommend.







Originally I wanted the special edition Ball & Buck Mora by AE, but that one is out of stock.

Also grabbed a polo from KW, a few OCBDs from Bonobos. Their sale section has been on point.

Nothing is every easy. I meet a girl downtown at my favorite food truck spot. Make an acquaintance, her and I hit it off. She is studying geology, I used to be a huge rock hound. About 5'6'', blonde, very attractive, 22.

Lol, gooby pls, I was wearing my black bay while I was handling the omegas. SPMc had nothing on the black bay, that's why I bought it over the SPMc. I love the looks of the smpc, but the action bezel felt cheap, crown was tiny and winding wasn't very nice, and the bracelet just felt okay (I may still pick one up some day.) I'm simply talking about fit and finish of the watches, not the movements. Some will debate omega's coaxial is that much better than an eta 2824, but mine have all worked great so no complaints here.

The day I walked in to buy an smpc, or speedy pro, I walked out with the black bay on my wrist. Movement aside, I believe it is the better watch. Granted I picked up the speedy a month later because it still had a special place in my heart.

Look at any thread on watchuseek of an owner of a black bay/pelagos and a planet ocean (yeah, even the big bad planet ocean) or smpc and they'll agree the Tudors stack up quite well, if not simply better. I exchanged messages with a guy last week (owner of omegas, tudors, rolexes, an AP RO, and others) and he said his black bay was on par with his planet ocean, and better in some aspects.

Lol not once in my post did I even mention styling, I'm completely talking about build quality.

If we are taking styling I found most of the omegas to be way too thick and the Tudors much thinner feeling. It's that cot damn bulbous case back, the planet ocean was the main offender, but even the aqua terra felt "fatter" than it should be.
