    The best chest exercise ever

    Decline cambered bar bench press

The decline positions emphasizes the chest and decreases anterior deltoid involvement

The cambered bar increases the stretch on the pecs, we all know pecs respond well to a good stretch

Barbells provide better progression potential than dumbbells in general

If your gym has these things, try it out

    Das it mane

I'm not a huge fan of decline to begin with. Incline ftw.

Incline will emphasize the clavicular head of the pectoralis major, but if you only do incline, your sternal pecs will be lagging massively

You should do both, but the sternal part makes up like 90% of the pecs so it should be the main focus

I don't have a camber bar at my gym or even a decline bench but I find sticking a couple of plates under a flat bench does the business!

Have completely ditched flat bench in favour of the decline now followed by sets of incline.

I personally believe it's important first to learn how to activate the pecs muscles. Then any exercise/movement is critical for a complete chest development.
Depress your shoulders, keep your shoulders blades on the bench when you lift the weight, keep the muscles under tension by thinking of pushing with your wrists, etc...
I'm not a big bench press fan and I'd rather train with long TUT instead of explosive movements...

I've always noticed feeling it more in my chest, the more declined a bench is. Incline feels like a shoulder movement. Why is it so popular for chest?

An exercise for the clavicular head

and an exercise for the sternocostal head

    i.e. either flat + incline
    or decline + incline
