This has been on the backburner for months. Finally got an hour to continue this. At this rate it'll be done next year.
Wanted to make something better than what I have (less wide), and wanted a "smarter" way to hold the plastic on there. We'll see how this works.

I would imagine those will get the job done.
No brain, no gain.

Isn't it weird that pirates would go out to shore looking for buried treasure but the real treasure was in the friendships they were making?

So, where can I pirate, I mean download, I mean steal this rack? I think 4TB will do it.

I don't have pictures handy, but here is the design. Missing are the counterweights that go into those big holes on top.
Here is close-up of one side. The perforated tubing is just nestable tubing which holds the crossbar. Once again, counterweights go in the hole
Views with one of the welded side plates removed. Missing is bearing that goes in for pivot. I used bearing, but any bronze bushing would be fine here. I used a 1/2" axle (also missing), works fine.
Let me know if this is clear enough.▪█──█▪ Equipment Crew #61 ▪█──█▪

Sir, you just got reps for posting that.
Quick question. What program do you use to make the sketches?Crews: Ivanko Barbell Crew #52, York Barbell Club #95, Equipment Crew #59

How difficult is it to move the Monolift up or down the uprights? Do both sides have to be moved at the same time?

Not bad, since it has a UHMW roller at the back of the upright, and UHMW inside the bent bracket on each side. You do have to move them up semi-together. I usually go up a few holes on one side, put back the pin, then go up other side. Easier way would be to put jacks like crepinsek does, but I'm usually the only one using this, so only reason to move it up/down is when I change bars or stance. So no more than a few inches each way.
