The Arnold Classic Europe will be held in Madrid, Spain for the third straight year.
The third-annual Arnold Classic Europe will be held Oct. 11-13 in Madrid, Spain and will once again feature IFBB Pro League men’s bodybuilding and fitness, a complete lineup of amateur bodybuilding events, amateur sports and the popular Arnol d Fitness EXPO.
Arnold Classic Europe is a joint venture between Gov. Schwarzenegger, Lorimer, Arnold Sports Festival co-promoter, and Dr. Rafael Santonja, the president of the International Federation of Body Building.
“We have had many requests over the years to take the Arnold Classic to many cities throughout the world, and we are excited to begin the globalization of our event with the first Arnold Classic Europe,” said Lorimer, co-promoter of the Arnold Sports Festival. “Rafael Santonja has been one of our biggest supporters and we look forward to working together for many years.”
Victor Martinez won the inaugural Arnold Classic Europe in 2011, while Shawn Rhoden captured the title in 2012. Tanji Johnsona and Oksana Grishina have on the Arnold Fitness Europe titles in the first two year, respectively.
In addition to pro men’s bodybuilding and pro fitness, the 2013 Arnold Classic Europe will feature contests for amateur bodybuilding, fitness, bodyfitness (figure) and bikini competitions. Others will include strongman, armwrestling, weightlifting, gymnastics, boxing, kickboxing, martial arts and much more. Events were held at the Palacio Municipal de Congresos del Campo de las Naciones in Madrid.
New in 2013 is the MHP Team USA vs. Team Europe Strongman Challenge.
Representing Team USA will be MHP-sponsored strength athletes Brian Shaw (6-foot-8, 440 pounds, World's Strongest Man) and Mike Jenkins (6-6, 400, Arnold Strongman Champion). Team Europe will feature MHP strongmen Zydrunas Savickas (6-3, 390, World's Strongest Man) and Krzysztof Radzikowski (6-1, 330, Strongman World Champ). The foure elite strongmen will compete in a series of three events over two days in a unique strongman competition.
Also new in 2013 is the Arnold Fighters Championships and Competitions. The combat area inside the Arnold Fitness EXPO will feature eight professional tatamis and an Olympic-size professional ring. The area will feature exhibitions and competitions in various disciplines of the martial arts and other combat sports and personal defense.
The Arnold Fighters MAIN EVENT will be held at 9 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 11 in the Madrid Arena an feature professional and amateur bouts in MMA, Boxing, K-1, Muay Thai, Grappling and Kickboxing

The Arnold Classic Europe builds on the success of the Arnold Sports Festival, which began as the Arnold Classic professional men’s bodybuilding competition in 1989 and has grown to include more than 18,000 athletes competing in more than 45 sports and events each year.

When is Mr. baito going to notice that he's not going to make a dent in the major competitions? Smaller pro shows like the PWB Tampa pro yes, strong top 3 material but AC or the Olympia? Bottom of the top 10 at best.
