First of all, this girl does not take lifting lightly (pun intended hehe) and I plan on becoming the best version of myself that I can possibly be. I'm motivated as hell to make something of this fitness stuff so if you're also motivated, you should probably subscribe. I'm open to share ideas about anything relating to fitness. Mainly food, I love food. Flexible dieter checking in and yes I will say that tracking macros for over a year and a half has gotten me the results I have today. Here's a little glance at my success so far since I started lifting in February 2012
Left side I was skinny fat, weighing in at 140. I had already lost 50lbs here through diet alone but still was not happy with myself. Found some cool people on this site who taught me a lot of what I know today and I hope to meet some more cool people
The right side is what I look like now
Quick update on my current goals:
I dirty bulked last year, got really fat and I've been trying to shed the fat pretty much this whole year. I took a diet break mid summer, somewhat fell off track and weighed 154 as of July 25th. WELL since that day I have dropped 19lbs and plan on shedding just a little more so I can start reverse dieting. All progress pics are on my bodyspace if interested!
Future goals:
I've been getting asked this a lot lately. Yes I do plan on competing on stage and it will be next year sometime, just don't have a set date at the moment. Yes I do want to compete in powerlifting as well because c'mon, lifting heavy is pretty awesome am I right? Right now I am doing Texas Method with added accessory and assistance work. I have a good friend who is helping me with this program and I've made excellent strength gains since starting just a couple weeks ago. Soooo if you want to know more, stay tuned! My session from today will be logged below

Here's a layout of the program I'm currently running which is perfect for me because I love training for strength but I also like hitting all areas. No body part left behind!

Bench/OHP Alternating 5x5
Vertical Pull
1 Side Delt
1 Tricep
Romanian DL
Lying Leg Curl
Wednesday
Squat 5rm
Bench/OHP Alternating
Horizontal Pull

First session:
Had to really grind through squats today. I was running on low carbs (blah) and didn't drink enough water this morning! I knew I had 180 x 5 but just didn't have as much energy as I normally do. Oh well, next time I'll have to fuel my body better beforehand. Form suggestions welcome but I don't like being "perfect" so form nazis pls go. Videos will be logged regularly!
Volume Day
Squats
WU
135 x 3
155 x 3
Working sets
180 x 5 x 2
Bench
65 x 10 (wu)
95 x 3
105 x 5 x 2
110 x 5 x 2
115 x 5
Lat Pulldown
80 x 12 x 3
Machine Lateral Raises
50 x 12
50 x 10 x 2
OH Cable Extensions
50 x 15 x 3
RDL
145 x 10 x 3 will bump up weight next week
Lying Leg Curls
50 x 12
55 x 12 x 2
That's pretty much it for today's session! Not much else to sayPatience, dedication, drive.

Happy to have you here Steph!
Thanks! ErickStevens is helping me with my training and made the routine. I wanted to do more of a powerlifting program while still incorporating a bit of bodybuilding so this is perfect for me
Thanks for subbing
I'm not prepping yet but yes I can post my daily macros and maybe some food pics in here if people don't get too turned off. My food is anything but pronographic hahaha if it tastes good it's fine with me. Currently on 1700 every day and I'll be having weekly refeeds
Yesterday's macros:
38F 177C 173P 38 fiber
I prefer a high protein diet. People always ask me why I get so much but it's just preference. I know I probably don't need it thoughPatience, dedication, drive.

Dear log,
My past 2 sessions have sucked! I'm still hitting PR's but my energy levels are totally in the gutter. I even tried getting more carbs in before my session today, drank plenty of water and took preworkout. I've never used preworkout before but starting to feel like I need it. I love my fat loss over these past couple of months but I'm seriously considering reverse dieting. I keep telling myself just keep cutting until you have visible abs then slowly add in the calories. So tempted to end this dieting thing but it's working so I'll stick to it. Just super lethargic lately
This has got to be the slowest squat video I've ever taken! The 3rd rep was killer. Looked up and saw stars everywhere lol so I took a while to get it together. Some SERIOUS mental coaching was going on during this video! Please excuse the quality. Apparently my android likes to cut bits and pieces out of every video I take. Refeed in a couple days, can't wait inb4 someone tells me to stop cutting and go into full powerlifter mode. eatallthethings.jpg
Really quick cool story: So some guy approaches me right before I start barbell rowing. Not sure if I should say, "hey look I'm trying to finish my session" or actually help this guy. So being the nice person I am I'm over here trying to explain what a barbell row is and how it's effective, what it works blah blah blah. He plays soccer so wouldn't expect him to know much about bodybuilding. Anyway I proceed to teach this guy how to row and I'm thinking "energy....levels....slowly....depleting....pl ease go." Long story short I taught someone how to row today and it feels good but at the same time I'm pretty sure he was just trying to hit on me. The gym is not the place for that! I find it difficult to tell people to eff off, he was actually nice though. Maybe I'm too nice
First 3 sets are warm up
Squats
95 x 8
135 x 3
160 x 3
190 x 5 PR
Military Press
65 x 6
85 x 5 x 2
90 x 5 yessss no spotter
BB Rows
130 x 8
135 x 6 meh he was bothering me during this set lol
135 x 8 PR
Reverse Pec Deck
70 x 15 x 2
75 x 15
Seated Alternating DB Curls
25 x 12 x 3
Standing Calf Machine
150 x 15
155 x 15 being totally honest I forgot to write down exactly what weight this was but I think this is right
Horizontal Calf
75 x 15 x 2
Cable Crunches
70 x 25 x 2
Hanging Leg Raises
12 x 3
Just cutting. See, I'm apart of that...umm...forever cutting crew I think is what it's called. I've been cutting all year! I wasn't consistent before so my weight loss wasn't that great. I took a diet break over the summer. Helped get me back on track for sure. Prep will be next yearPatience, dedication, drive.

Thank you. Considering asking for a spotter next time but I RAGE when someone touches the bar and I don't need them to. Yeah I know the safety bars are there for a reason but somehow having someone yelling at me to get up motivates me. Sucks not having a lifting partner anymore
Patience, dedication, drive.
