Some of you guys are the biggest naive coksuking idiots out there.
Have you ever seen nasser or ruhl before bb, they were nothing at all special .
People like flex wheeler are genetic gods, not ****ing Evan centiponi, seriously do honestly think that you wouldn't look good spending thousands on drugs and training and eating all day ?

Considering this IS the IFBB section, I am totally amazed whenever a thread degenerates into this familiar argument...
We all know what Pro Bodybuilding is about: if you don't like it, don't frequent forums such as this....
So they all use..so what? It is all relative: you got Genetically gifted men, who use and who are diligent, and they go head to head against each other....
People who never competed cannot begin to understand the intricacies of TIMING CONDITIONING: balancing water levels/carbs etc, as you approach the day....it is a tough learning curve that takes years upon years and has nothing to do with amounts of drugs or how big you are....
there is a LOT to competitive Bodybuilding , AT ANY LEVEL, natural or otherwise, that is an art and a skill and as I said, takes a lifetime of learning....
until they make a drug that makes you smarter and gives you total knowledge of the nuances of your own body's physiology, there will be something to admire about those "get it" and nail ideal timing for important shows.Lift as MUCH as you can, for as MANY reps as you can,
while in complete control of the exercise.

People have different genetics I'm not trying to argue against that, but the whole categorization of body composition purely on the ****types are ridiculous, refer to the quoted post 2 spots below.
I've seen so called 'ectos', who have small arms, small waists and small hips have large wrist structures, I've also seen severely obese people diet down properly and have a 28 inch waist. YOU take a look around and you will realize that categorizing 7 billion different bodies into 3 distinct categories is beyond absurd, also read the post below.

This is the first time I'm coming back to this thread and...
Also there's an upcoming article on New Yorker by Malcolm Gladwell titled "MAN AND SUPERMAN: In athletic competitions, what qualifies as a sporting chance?" I haven't read it yet, but Malcolm is a smart man, so for those of you who are interested in learning about how genetic traits are linked to sports performance: http://www.newyorker.com/arts/critic...urrentPage=all

Because they've never done any drugs or know anyone that has. They just assume the hardcore BS people like to spew that all pros are on 4grams of supps a week and nobody ever comes off. Makes them feel better about themselves is my guess. If the only difference between pro's and other people is dosage, we'd have ALOT less guys competing at nationals for 6 years in a row.

Do you know how hard it is for your body to maintain supraphysiological amounts of muscle? Now, a pro has an muscle mass that is ridiculously higher than a natural maximum. Would he shrink to nothing? No. But he'd lose a ton of mass.
Look at the old pictures when Arnold actually came off. He shrunk to a pretty normal looking guy.
The real question is why is it so hard for you to believe that Pros lie? I mean we see it daily. They lie about what they use, how much, what they eat, how they train, how much they weigh, they even lie about their height. Yet you don't think they'd also lie about whether they come off? C'mon now.

He does know and so do all the others. But they'd rather maintain a positive happy-go-lucky attitude of "it's possible that it's not the case" that somehow makes them feel better.
When you tell em to somber up they tell you to shush because it's breaking their lovely mental lullaby.People these days have more reps than brain cells

So yeah, about what this thread was originally about...Evan did make an awesome transformation. He was able to go from a fat kid to one of the best bodybuilders in the world.
I like Evan. He's very articulate and has said that winning the Mr. O isn't the most important thing for him. Being better and better everytime he competes is what matters to him.
Also, his dad has been battling Cancer and all that, so we KNOW Evan is going to take even better care of himself in order to prevent anything from happening to him in the future. He is NOT about to risk his health just so he can bring his chest up or whatever else people feel he needs in order to contend for the Mr. O title.
And he's a great family man and he feels it'd be selfish of him to view his fiancé and daughter as obstacles. He's not one of these guys who has the "Flex Wheeler Mindset" of "I need to rent a room at the hotel so I can get ready" or the "Kevin Levrone Mindset" of "I'm going to sleep on the floor with my gun, 'cause I'm a soldier and this is my battle".
Go Evan!"You can always do what you have set your mind to do if you don't allow Fear and Discouragement to stop you. People say that Faith is the absence of Fear. But I believe that Faith is the presence of Courage in the face of Fear and Failure".

Supplementation actually causes further growth of cancerous cells. So if cancer is in his family then I'm not sure how this even makes sense. I'm sorry, people need to stop acting like bodybuilding isn't what it is. Healthy and pro bodybuilding don't go together. PERIOD. I'm not saying it as a negative, I'm saying it as a reality. I respect the hell out of the guys and the sacrifices they make, but can we not be naive about this. As the envelope gets pushed further and further, we are seeing more pros die early. More pros with health problems. That is for a reason and it isn't just because they aren't taking the proper precautions.
