Went to a special 16 person preview dinner from a chef who is opening a restaurant in the Dec. Was at a demo kitchen and pretty neat. The amuse was an oyster with tomato dashi gelee and the dessert was a walnut apple cake with brown butter, buttermilk ice cream and apple in various forms with bleu cheese

Holy god, that looks so damn good.
Anyhow, this was my day, typical Asian food:
Curry Fish Balls
Boba (Bubble Tea)
500g of Lean Steak Strips and Broccoli (very bro I know)
Key Lime Cheesecake and Milk
And I had some chicken strips with some sweet peas, but didn't take a picture.
Typical day.Retired 74kg PL Open Division (3 meets)

"The iron never lies to you. You can walk outside and listen to all kinds of talk. The iron will always kick you the real deal. The iron is the great reference point, the all-knowing perspective giver. Always there like a beacon in the pitch black. I have found the iron to be my greatest friend. It never freaks out on me, never runs. Friends may come and go but two hundred pounds is always two hundred pounds."
