Shakes is just a cheaper and easier way of getting calories in. A tub of powder will last the best part of three weeks, maybe more if you have one or two shakes a day. If you dont want them tough **** add $10 to your budget and buy more meat.
I thought this was a really cool vid. So simple and helpful to most people id say. Aside from his motivational talk i love Evan's advice. Very down to earth and simple.

Wow.. so cheap.. if i bought the same food for a week here in Norway, it would cost me atleast 1000 NOK / 180-210 USD.. luckily the salary is higher here, though it doesn't completely make up for the price differences. Such is life in the worlds most expensive city (Oslo)

Like I've said many times before; this might be okay for "regular" folks who eat "normal" amounts but for those of us eating so many cals/day I don't think taking in such a hyoooge amount of modified franken-food is a good idea (inb4 PED's). I'd like to see OX step into Whole Foods with fiddy.

I don't need Science to tell me that man's meddling with nature is "unnatural".
What are the consequences? I dunno, but will neither let the experiment be run on myself nor loved ones. Seems like every other day I read something about Monsanto's "food" causing this or that in mice, only to be followed the next day with a report from other "experts" (Monsanto employees) stating the opposite.
Maybe you're right...maybe not. I'll err on the side of caution, however.

Eating big on the cheap is easy no matter what anyone says.
Box of white rice $4 and will make a FUK ton of rice
Dozen XL eggs $1-2
Chicken breast $2 - $2.50 a pound when you buy the 3+lb sizes. I just got 4.5lbs from Walmart for $9.50
Chicken thighs
Chicken Legs
Beef
Tuna
Potatoes
Oats
Peanut Butter (pretty pricey but the calorie to cost ratio is good)
And hell there's times I didn't feel like cooking I'll go to Country Kitchen buffet. $9 and I'll eat a lb of chicken breast and a crap ton of veggies.
Buy a crockpot, 3lbs of chicken and 3 cans of 10.5oz condensed soup. Throw in crockpot for 4 hours. Hnnnngggg food for 3-5 days. Put on top of cheap as hell rice. All KINDZ of protein and carbs and a little fat from the soup.
