Natural Bodybuilding?

Is there an actual 100% Natural bodybuilding left out there? I would be interested in finding something like that. I'm competing in my first show in May, but they don't test. I'm in Oregon and would be interested in competing more maybe, but not against "enhanced" people. Only real ones.

There is no way to catch everyone. You can beat any test. I think you'd have the most luck with feds that are more stringent(i.e. randoms throughout the year, etc.), but there will probably still be a few that slip through the cracks.

And even if you really are drug-free, how do they know that you didn't use drugs in the past?

It would help you reach your potential mass faster, but it wouldn't help you be anymore than what your body could have been naturally. I think that there may be a slight advantage due to your fascia's being stretched and maybe some extra retained muscle webbing, but I doubt it.

I promote two Natural Bodybuilding contests in Chicago. My next one will be on April 6th, 2013 at Hinsdale South High School in Darien, IL. We drug test EVERYONE who competes in the show by polygraph and then we also test at least 3-4 people by urinalysis at the end of the show. We have caught several people trying to cheat using these testing methods over the last 6 years I have been promoting shows. I am also looking into doing hair analysis for drug testing because I think this could be the most effective method of testing.

1) A guy who comes off 3 months before the show If he somehow magically passes the blood,urine and lie detector test who cares,

2) Most natty competitors CANNOT afford pro type supps, Pros can't afford pro type supps,
No one is spending that type of money for a sword or an axe as the prize.

3) Most people aren't lie detector test experts

4) Cheaters get caught.....check the the INBA's wall of shame. In one of my shows everyone was like 140 to 195 ish except one enormous black dude named Ali something. He had to be like 225 with a bulging gut with abs on top. He demolished us and sure enough a week later he was on the wall of shame.

The whole "Natty bodybuilders have to look like swimmers or cyclists or downright crap or they are using supps" is just pathetic at this point.

From what I understand, the hair analysis can go back several months. The problem with urinalysis and blood testing is that it is fluid in the body. If the competitors can clear that fluid before the test takes place, they can still pass the test. I'm still investigating how it all works. If they have shaved heads, we will have to figure that out too. I think that more extensive testing needs to take place in order to catch the bodybuilders who are trying to beat the tests. I've been promoting shows for 7 years now so I'm always looking for better and more efficient ways to test.

Depending on your goals, speaking too candidly can cause problems. For example, Lee Priest received a lifetime ban from the IFBB due to his antics. Correct me if Im wrong but arent the top and bottom scores wiped anyway?

So even if you piss a judge off and he scores you unfairly or the opposite ie doing something to get a better score, then you will still be judged pretty fairly.

Bottom line if you bring a good package you cannot be overlooked.
