It depends on the other things he could be doing with his time.

It is not HIS responsibility to raise other people's children and I would never engage in that sort of behavior myself.

Also you're speculating that he is a good parent, nobody but him and the child knows that. If he's a good parent, good for him. I can respect THAT, I'm not just going to sit here and act amazed that he's "raising" someone elses child.
